SUMMARY: The custodian/housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROVIDES safe and clean environment though Nexus Family Recovery Center.
ASSURES all buildings on the main campus and location on Buckner Blvd. are clean and safe for staff, clients and visitors.
ASSURES that the cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained, stocked, and ordered in a timely matter.
REPORTS any maintenance concerns to the Chief Operations Officer.
ASSISTS with the upkeep of all buildings and grounds of Nexus Family Recovery Center.
ASSISTS on the weekend or after hours when needed.
DEMONSTRATES regular predictable attendance and punctuality

Driver is responsible for transporting clients to and from scheduled appointments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides safe transportation for clients to and from scheduled appointments as needed.
Assures van interiors are kept clean.
Assures that vans have gas for other drivers.
Reports any maintenance concerns the Director of Operations.
Maintains all vans by having them serviced on a regular basis.
Assists Director of Operations in communicating to all staff transportation needs by providing orientation and memos with prior approval of the Director of Operations.
Assists in the dorm when transportation of clients is not needed under the Supervision of the Recovery Advocates 2 and the Director of Operations.
Demonstrates regular predictable attendance and punctuality.
Ensures services delivered as in line with the Nexus Mission and Values
Other duties may be assigned.

Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for the supervision, training, operations, quality assurance, ticketing management for the Maintenance and Custodial Team. Maintaining the highest expectation of quality service, the Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for maintaining all compliance standards for the team. The Maintenance Team Lead works with staff and leadership to create a physically and emotionally safe environment for the Nexus community, using trauma-informed practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manages the campus facilities ticket queue, assigning tasks to themself, to Maintenance staff, and to Custodial staff so that regular maintenance and daily campus needs are met. Escalates issues to the Director of Operations as appropriate, completes building and maintenance tickets, and ensures that assigned tickets are completed.
Manages scheduling for the team, and establishes and maintains norms for addressing coverage needs when there are scheduling issues.
Conducts and documents regular inspections of the campus grounds and buildings to maintain compliance standards and monitor for issues with facilities and equipment. Conducts regular audits of vehicle maintenance, building audits, documentation and other logs.
Responds to facilities requests for on-campus meetings and events, and coordinates event and meeting setup among the Maintenance and Custodial team and the Kitchen team.
Manages ordering for housekeeping and campus supplies.
Works closely with the Director of Operations to handle some basic plant functions and manage vendors and service for equipment, including thermostats, vehicles, laundry, and groundskeeping.
Attends all required staff training sessions by Nexus and state licensing requirements and completes all training on time and ensures team attendance.
Attends and participates in all staff and leadership meetings.

Direct Care Monitors are responsible for:

Recovery Advocate(s) I ensure the safety of and provide quality care to clients and their children. This position is responsible for maintaining the program schedule, program guidelines, and daily program activities, including the flexibility of moving between programs for coverage needs.
OVERNIGHT SHIFTS have the responsibility of data entry into CMBHS per contract requirements. This position is responsible for creating a safe and healing environment for clients in line with the agency's core values of respect, compassion, and integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide supervision for clients and children in a safe, therapeutic setting.
Ensure clients adhere to the daily program schedule in addition to providing scheduled group activities to clients.

The Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis and medication management to clients. They provide physical exams and admission orders for detox clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EVALUATES detox clients and approves admission to detox and discharge from detox level of care.
MANAGES the medical care and detox process for all detox clients.
CONDUCTS the CIWA and COWS as indicated.
PROVIDES detox training to staff.
CONDUCTS history and physical exams on residential clients.
PROVIDES medical leadership and medical case consultation to the multi-disciplinary team.
ENSURES client medical and behavioral health care needs are addressed through the coordination of services with medication room staff.
CONDUCTS client psychiatric evaluations and prescribes appropriate medications under the scope of current license and physician supervision.
ASSISTS in crisis situations as indicated and completes appropriate documentation.
RECORDS significant events/concerns as related to client medical issues.
COMPLIES with all licensing and regulatory standards for medication storage, disposal, counting, reconciliation, etc.
ATTENDS program treatment team meetings, as required.
PROVIDES emergency direction as appropriate.
COORDINATES civil court commitment procedures as indicated.
PROVIDES phone consultation to managed care and insurance companies regarding client mental health issues as indicated.
PROVIDES staff training on issues related to dual diagnosis and medical complications related to addiction.
PARTICIPATES in agency committees as indicated.
ATTENDS monthly All Staff Meeting.

In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and 12-step facilitation).
Familiarity with various treatment modalities (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, detox, rehabilitation).
Understanding relapse triggers, recovery stages, and strategies for long-term sobriety.

TRAUMA-RESPONSIVE CARE:
Counselors should have a deep understanding of how trauma (especially past experiences such as abuse, neglect, domestic violence, or sexual assault) can affect women. This includes recognizing the signs of trauma and addressing its impact on behavior, emotions, and substance use.
Ability to create a physically and emotionally safe environment where women can feel supported and empowered to address their trauma and substance use disorder without fear of re-traumatization.
Proficiency in using trauma-specific therapeutic interventions as license allows, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and incorporating them into treatment plans.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate, bachelor's or master's degree in social sciences or related field from an accredited college.
LCDC, LPC-A, LPC, LCSW, LMSW, or LMFT required. LCDC-I with 2,000 hours minimum will be considered.
Two to four years' experience preferred.

Substance Abuse Counselors are responsible for:
Conducts client interviews and assessments to review substance use disorder and treatment history.
Evaluates client response to treatment to recommend modifications to the treatment plan and assist with caseloads and development of individualized treatment plan and preparing individually appropriate goals, interventions, and necessary support.
Assists with and provides didactic group counseling, including psychoeducation, drug education, and family education to ensure peer support occurs.
Provides individual client counseling, educational programs and lectures to address relapse prevention, problem solving, behavior modification, anger management, etc., and to assist in overcoming substance use disorder, adjusting to pro-social life, and making cognitive and behavioral changes.
Carries case load up to 25 clients, per State and contract requirements.
Collaborates with clients to develop discharge summary and continuing care and relapse prevention plans for supervisor's approval to integrate aftercare treatment with referral resource services.
Coordinates required services to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations in support of continued recovery.
Collects and maintains treatment records and reports to ensure organizational, regulatory, accreditation, and contractual compliance.
Performs office administrative duties, such as answering telephones; relaying messages; responding to inquiries regarding program services and policies; filing, photocopying and faxing documents; planning special events, assembling intake packets, etc.
Job Requirements:
Must have a mimimun of a Bachelor's Degree in a helping profession from an accredited college or university
Some previous counseling experience, experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment is preferred
Must obtain certification as identified by state within 24 months of the first date that the counseling services are provided. Acceptable Certifications include Certified Addiction Counselor from the Georgia Addiction Counselor's Association (GACA), Certified Addiction Counselor from the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor from the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (ICRC), and Certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). Acceptable Licensures include Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS).
Must be able to obtain Georgia Department of Corrections clearance to work in the correctional institution
Physical Requirements:
Works in a correctional facility
Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients
