ASSURES all buildings on the main campus and location on Buckner Blvd. are clean and safe for staff, clients and visitors. ASSURES that the cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained, stocked, and ordered in a timely matter. REPORTS any maintenance concerns to the Chief Operations Officer. ASSISTS with the upkeep of all buildings and grounds of Nexus Family Recovery Center. ASSISTS on the weekend or after hours when needed. DEMONSTRATES regular predictable attendance and punctuality OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Current driver's license and good driving record required Good interpersonal skills. Prepare Medicaid and MCO concurrent reviews for authorization of continued care. Help clients set and achieve recovery goals, develop coping mechanisms, and enhance life skills. Offer crisis intervention and emotional support as needed, especially during relapse or setbacks. GROUP COUNSELING: Facilitate group therapy sessions on topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, life skills, and emotional regulation. Ensure a supportive and non-judgmental environment that fosters trust and open communication among participants. Monitor group dynamics, guide group conflicts, and encourage participation. EDUCATION: Provide psychoeducation to clients about substance use, the recovery process, and the effects of substances on physical and mental health. DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant incidents. Complete intake and discharge summaries and prepare progress reports as required by facility protocols or licensing requirements. Two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE: This position requires a valid driver's license, with a favorable driving record, and experience to drive small passenger and 15-passanger vans. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret simple instructions, documents, and correspondence. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to clients, customers, visitors, and employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF WORK: Ability to perform assigned duties and responsibilities with neatness, accuracy, and a degree of excellence in a timely manner.
