Operate and assist in the operation of intermodal equipment including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders. Monitor workflow and enforce operational procedures to maintain high productivity and safety standards. Coordinate with dispatch, logistics teams, and yard supervisors to support timely loading/unloading of containers. Perform inspections and preventative maintenance checks on equipment. Serve as a point of escalation for on-site operational challenges. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the terminal team. Qualifications: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Effective communication skills; both verbal and written. Proven ability to train and develop team members. Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and management. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Valid driver's license. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable climbing ladders and stairs, including on/off railcars. Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations.
