The Machine Learning Intern will provide support for Engineering and Automation groups in the Water Solutions Business Unit during the course of the internship. The position will help develop, train, and test machine learning models, gaining hands-on experience in Machine Learning and implementing it to support operations within NGL's Water Solutions Team. Field Tech- Power Systems Technicians or NETA Technicians are expected to perform service, test and maintain various types of power transmission and distribution equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and/ or high voltage (to 500kV) electrical systems. Low, Medium and/ or High voltage switchgear and circuit breaker testing Perform inspection, maintenance, testing and repair of transformers, circuit breakers and all related equipment - 45 KVA to 130 MVA, dry type and/ or oil filled. Perform maintenance, testing, reconditioning and repair on circuit breakers - low voltage 480 volt (molded case and air-magnetic) medium voltage up to 15 KV (air-magnetic and vacuum) Experience filling and working with SF6 filled equipment and gas insulated switchgear, desired but not required. Test and inspect low and medium voltage cable installations. Experience operating high voltage test equipment including Doble Power Factor test sets. The Assistant Distribution Coordinator role will assist and support the business' back office functions, performing functions around Bills of Lading (“BOLs”) procurement, review, and entry into Centennial's revenue distribution system, Solarc Right Angle (“SRA”), with a focus on blending customers in the New York Harbor (NYH). Tools, Equipment, and Technology: Welders must have knowledge of and use: welding machines, man lifts, chipping & grinding equipment, cutting torches, welding leads, welding whips, and welding guns. All applicable safety equipment used to perform their everyday welding duties (welding shields, goggles, hard hats, etc.) Environmental Conditions: 80% to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc. They may also be exposed to fumes (Paint, paint thinners, diesel, /or gas, etc.) Gulf Island will not sponsor applications for work visas.
