The Engineering Intern will provide support for Engineering and Operations roles in the Water Solutions business unit during the course of the internship. The position will consist of analyzing, planning, specifying, developing, procuring, maintaining and enhancing the various systems, procedures and processes within the Water Solutions business unit. The position will work with command center operations, SWD field operations, and engineering on improving the overall efficiency and efficacy of the Water Solutions business unit.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and document system equipment failures to perform root cause/failure analyses.
Analyze and report on system efficiency gains and losses, the effects of system interventions and modifications, and identify future optimization opportunities for reducing costs and enhancing system throughput.
Assist with troubleshooting system power-related issues, identifying problem areas and providing technical solutions to reduce costs and improve system reliability. Evaluate and inventory NGL's current electrical infrastructure.
Use technical expertise and creativity to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems that increase value delivered to NGL Energy operations and customers.
Provide engineering and technical support to Operations Staff, ensuring applications and integrated systems work as expected.
