Production Operator
This position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.
Essential Functions
* Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara's standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
* Accurately completes applicable quality and production reports hourly. Physical and visual inspection of product is required to prevent non-conforming goods. Correctly reports all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership.

You'll lead both the R&D Innovation and Optimization teams, delivering new product success and enhancing existing product performance. Your work will directly influence company growth through customer wins, operational efficiency, and breakthrough innovation in pork quality.
What You'll Do
Lead technical strategy and execution for R&D innovation and optimization
Define and align project accountability structures with Commercialization, Marketing, and Ops
Manage high-profile technical initiatives and build cross-functional partnerships
Oversee benchtop and commercialization pipelines
Integrate customer feedback, vendor partnerships, and internal insight into rapid innovation
Manage team development, succession planning, and structure evaluation
Oversee KPI scorecard and portfolio health metrics

Proven R&D leadership (10+ years), preferably in protein or meat
Track record of managing cross-functional product development at scale
Deep knowledge of regulatory, food safety, commercialization, and cost optimization
Experience working across branded and private label categories
High-level communication and influence skills-internally and externally
Willingness to do both Strategic R&D work and cover a trial/first production with the team on the plant floor.

What You'll Do:
Mechanical:
Diagnose and fix mechanical issues, including replacing parts like bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, or sprockets.
Repair or rebuild components like motors, gear reducers, or variable speed drives (excluding complex equipment needing specialized tools).
Ensure the right parts are ordered and follow through on repairs.
Pneumatics:
Troubleshoot pneumatic systems like cylinders, valves, and adjusters.
Rebuild pneumatic components and understand related hoses and fittings.
Read and interpret pneumatic schematics.
Hydraulics:
Understand hydraulic systems and components.
Rebuild or replace hydraulic parts and interpret hydraulic schematics.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Electrical training preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Seeking a 1st Shift Fabricator responsible for operating a variety of machines and tools to produce precision parts and assemblies.
They may also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair equipment. Experience in sheet metal layout, bend allowances, brake, and shear are required. The ideal candidate will have a team driven attitude, outstanding work ethic, and the ability to work with little or no supervision while maintaining quality of work.
As the Fabricator your responsibilities will be:
Fabricate from blueprints and drawings Weld, fabricate, and repair machinery in plant as needed.
Repair equipment as required in the plant.
Install fabricated parts in plant as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Work in a manner that promotes safety.
Help team reach all KPI goals.
Work in a manner that embraces company core values.
This position requires that one be able to fabricate and weld parts as needed.
Skill Level:
Mastered all required skills for the job positions
Solid Stick and Tig Welding skills
Be able to set-up and run all cutting, forming, and welding equip. avail. in shop.
Must be able to read blueprints
