Purpose Statement
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible to manage all aspects of a distribution warehouse that delivers to Rich Products standards in warehouse operations.

* Responsible to manage all capital planning to support building needs
* Support projects as they arise, both within or outside the facility
* Lead warehouse team by fostering an engaged workforce commited to superior customer service, meeting operational demands and committed to a safe and respectful working environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Minimum of BS degree in Business or Logistics preffered
* Minimum 3 years Logistics experience; distribution/warehouse experience preferred
* Preference will be given to those who have prior management/supervisory experience
* Warehouse management system experience
* Demonstrated planning, organizing and managing skills

COMPENSATION

The Warehouse Manager of Gulf Distributing Company of Alabama is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Manages and works with all departments including receiving, replenishment, inventory, and load crew. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Supervise all Warehouse employees to ensure they are performing their assigned duties in an efficient manner.
* Require that all steps are followed to prevent the loss of product through pilferage, damage, or aging.
* Ensure all warehouse employees abide by company policies and procedures.
* Ensure all warehouse employees pay close attention to the code beer dates and the delivery trucks are loaded with the oldest product first.
* Check and prevent any discrepancies in daily inventory.
* Require every Delivery Driver to be counted out correctly and leave with the proper product.
* Ensure every Delivery Driver is checked-in immediately upon his return to the warehouse; this includes the counting of all returned products, empties, pallets, and carts.
* Check-in swaps, damage, breakage, and returns.
* Ensure all reworked product to brewery standards and is returned to stock prior to the start of the truck loading process.
* Require a count of the actual cases of product received against the quantity on the bill of lading.
* Rotate product within the warehouse to make sure the oldest product is loaded for delivery first.
* Forward to the office in a timely manner all paperwork that pertains to incoming product.
* Record on the bill of lading(s) the code dates for all products that are received.
* Have all rows tagged with the proper code date information.
* Make sure all delivery trucks are swept out and clean and there is no damage to equipment.
* Ensure warehouse, grounds and keg/pallet yards are kept clean.
* Supervise unloading and loading of common carriers.
* Supervise loading of bulk trucks and transport to other companies.
* Investigate and report all accidents occurring during shift.
* Ensure all cooperage, empties, and pallets are returned to the breweries and the paperwork is completed in a correct and timely manner.

Overview
Responsible for leadership and management in a warehouse with high volume, scope, and complexity. This role will provide overall direction and coordination of all warehouse activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure all team associates understand and operate within the organizational, operational, inventory controls, safety, and service policies and procedures
Manage and develop a supervisory team responsible for directing all outbound warehouse activities and managing employee teams in the warehouse
Ensure the accuracy of filling orders to retail customers and the quality of products
Coach, train, direct, and counsel operations supervisors on overall performance
Define productivity expectations and efficiencies; monitor progress regularly
Identify and recommend opportunities for employee development and performance improvements
Ensure safety and recommend maintenance improvements in the warehouse by conducting safety training, accident investigations, and equipment and facility inspections
Investigate complaints involving such matters as damaged product, wrong product loaded onto trucks, inventory adjustments and variances, delays in shipments, and product quality issues; make necessary adjustments and improvements

Responsibilities:
Oversee all department operations
Directly responsible for all warehouse and field personnel
Conduct daily meetings, and performance evaluations for direct reports
Create succession plans for each key positions and all departments
Fill in for direct reports when needed
Resolve problems and implement best practices and efficiency improvements
Conduct job costing reports and quality assurance visits
Develop resource forecasts, manage budget, resources, and rental truck usage
Prepare and distribute reports to the executive team
Oversee and delegate warehouse organization and efficiency processes
Heavily involved in hiring, training, performance improvement, and terminations
