DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS The work involves responsibility for performing complex clerical processing and maintenance of records, as well as a variety of office support activities. All of these functions require skilled use of computerized equipment with a word processing function. Under general supervision, employees in this class perform advanced clerical and routine secretarial tasks that include the use of word processing packages, spreadsheets, and database programs producing final copy that is accurate, grammatically correct and appropriately formatted. The principal emphasis of this position is upon the wide variety of clerical tasks performed, which require the application of independent judgment and clerical knowledge. The SUNY Delhi Aquatic Center is seeking lifeguards for the Kunsela Hall Pool. The Kunsela Hall Pool is open to the college and surrounding community. We provide a welcoming, fun, and safe multipurpose space that services individuals from infancy through adulthood, in water safety and recreation to contribute to the quality of their lives.
General Lifeguard Duties:
* Patron surveillance and preventing the injuries before they occur.
* Supervising swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensure that all policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
* Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
* Responsible for opening and closing the aquatics facility.
* Inspect pool facilities, equipment and water to ensure that they are safe and usable, to include monitoring pool chemistry and charting.
* Provides general upkeep and maintenance of the pool, locker rooms and First Aid room via specific cleaning schedules.
* Basic bookkeeping and tracking of attendance and payments which includes checking patron IDs.
* Setting up for events: moving lane lines, tables, chairs, pool equipment, etc.
Head Lifeguard Duties:
* Supervise lifeguards.
* Assist with making the lifeguard schedule.
* Act as a liaison between the Aquatics Coordinator and Lifeguard staff.
* Accurately collect, record and secure payments received during each shift.
* Any other duties assigned by the Aquatics Coordinator.
Requirements:
* Maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
* In good judicial standing with the college.
* Possess a current Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training certificiate, or equivalent.
* Possess a current American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer or BLS Certification, or equivalent.

* Assist with the management of all aspects of the occupancy and room assignment process for new and returning students during the academic year including move in/out, break housing, room condition reports/facilities, summer occupancy, living learning communities' applications, academic dismissals, housing license and housing policy guide, housing accommodations, assignments, applications, and billing.

TITLE: Visiting Assistant Professor PRODiG+ Fellow DEPARTMENT: Game Design and Development The State University of New York (SUNY) College at canton invites qualified applicants for a Full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Game Design and Development/ Graphic Multimedia Design programs beginning September 1, 2026.
This position is offered as part of the Promoting Recruitment, Opportunity, Diversity, Inclusion and Growth plus (PRODiG+) program designed to advance two goals: (1) increasing the number and share of excellent diverse faculty committed to advancing the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion; and (2) strengthening the pipeline for retention and support of those faculty.
This position is contingent upon funding.

Required Qualifications
* Ph.D. or relevant terminal degree from an accredited institution completed prior to start date in any discipline related to the game programming, interactive media, art, and design.
* Be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship for the entirety of the program.
* Eligible candidates must demonstrate personal, academic, and/or work experience engaging with diversity, equity, and inclusion and/or commitment to facilitating and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the campus community. Such experience may include, but is not limited to, an academic/scholarly track record focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion; work, volunteer/unpaid/community service; or related experience/expertise in serving underserved or vulnerable areas and/or populations.
* Game development and interactive media industry experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who are:
* Current SUNY students, alumni, and/or Fellows.
* From a low-income background (e.g., Pell-eligible as undergraduates), were first-generation college students (students whose parents have not earned a bachelor's degree), have overcome adversity, are AmeriCorps alumni, or are veterans.
Responsibilities
* Engage in scholarly activities that contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in the discipline.
* Continually develop and improve skills and knowledge in the discipline through professional development.
* Teach courses as assigned in the program in a variety of instructional modalities (face-to-face, online, and flex) and implements assessment and use of data for continuous improvement in course and program student learning outcomes.
* Active in research, peer-reviewed publications, and secure external funds.
* Participate in faculty committees, student advisement, and other activities related to university service.

Requirements:
Education Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience Required: Strong knowledge of computer networking theory and fundamentals. Hands on experience with networking equipment, preferably with Cisco.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
* Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
* Cisco Networking Academy (CCNA) Certification.
* Teaching experience.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Bilingual skills.
