BASIC FUNCTION & JOB DUTIES:
Performs all front desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in/out, promoting sales related programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, etc. Responsible for auditing the previous day's receipts to verify and balance entries, runs reports and verifies accuracy of information. May also assist with set up of breakfast. May include food preparation, set up, service and/or cleaning. JOB OVERVIEW - NIGHT AUDITOR:
Use your attention to detail and desire for routine to create memorable guest experiences! As a Night Auditor, you will work overnight (graveyard) hours to supervise the hotel and perform tasks to certify that all daily transactions are reconciled. The department is open 24/7….so each front desk role is as important as the others. Associates working the front desk are the key to the overall experience the guest will have. As the late shift you are essentially working without management supervision so your responsibility is seen as even greater as you assist in closing out the business for the day as well as check in or out those guests during non- traditional hours. The night shift also assures the guest a stay that is safe whereby you are monitoring abnormal activity inside and outside of the hotel and monitoring any weather issues that could become threatening to our resting guests. Role Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Night Auditor you have the responsible to give our guests the best hospitality experience they can have by:
Processing credit card transactions and other (restaurant, events, lounge) for the day
Handling phone system, transferring calls, reservations, etcc
Verify, balance and review hotel room availability
Perform Check-in and Check-out procedures
Administer guest payment policies and look for errors from the day shifts
Prepare folios for the morning departing guests
Maintain overall lobby appearance and assist with AM breakfast set up if needed
Be versed in all hotel emergency procedures

JOB OVERVIEW - FRONT DESK AGENT
Apply your outgoing personality and ability to connect with others to create memorable guest experiences! As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first impression for our guests upon arrival and throughout their stay you will build lasting impressions and gain loyal guests by handling all questions, requests and complaints promptly and courteously.
A TYPICAL DAY:
Ensure that all guests receive a friendly, efficient and error-free check-in and check-out experience.
Handle continuous requests in a fast paced environment by coordinating with other departments to ensure all guest requests are met.
Answer questions regarding the local area and facilities and be able to give proper directions and resources to positively influence each guest's stay.
Demonstrate proper phone etiquette including transferring calls, taking messages and making reservations.
Follow proper cash handling procedures and be able to post and reconcile charges applied to guest receipts.
Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous customer service experience where you have been guest facing in a fast-paced environment is ideal. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology. This job requires you to stand for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
