An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. To verify that the dry ingredients are batched correctly in the proper manner in order to ensure a quality product is made for customers. RESPONSIBILITIES * On the 1st batch of every formula, verify that all ingredients for the formula are correct.
* Verify that the operators are batching the correct ingredients in the right quantities. Verify that the batching books are being properly documented and that documentation is done by the operators in a timely manner. This includes verifying that the correct lot numbers are used and documented. Weights for all ingredients used in a formula shall also be verified by visually auditing the operators when they are weighing the product. All operators should be audited once per shift. New trainees should be audited at increased frequencies to ensure they are being trained correctly and to ensure batching is being done correctly as per the SOPs.
* At the start of shift, complete scale verification. This shall also be completed if a scale is moved during the shift. The 25 lb weight will be used. Responsible for completing the Scale Verification Form once scales are verified.
* At the end of the shift, check the cut batch rack to ensure items on the racks are properly identified.
* Turns in all paperwork into the Can Production Supervisor at the end of their shift
* Prints pallet tags as needed. Auditors also ensure that ingredients are not expired by checking the QA tags of ingredients coming into the bulk room. Verification of ingredients shall be done to ensure the QA tag matches the pallet of product
* Assists in maintaining a clean sanitary environment. This includes monitoring GMPs such as no bags or totes on the floor, hair nets/beard nets used, spills cleaned up in a timely manner, check totes for missing pieces and cracks, totes are cleaned before being put back in racks, trash emptied in a timely manner and before end of shift ect
* Ensures that all partial bags are correctly taped, dated, initialed and labeled (with QA tag) before they are transported back to the racks
* If a foreign material is found, ensure that the product is not used and will inform the supervisor of the item found.
* Ensures that all micro ingredients are properly weighed and labeled prior to being used
* Ensures that all grey totes containing product contain a green identification tag to maintain traceability.
