What will you be doing?
Perform front desk responsibilities to include greeting guests, performing guest transactions, answering the telephone, processing individual reservations, balancing credit card and cash transactions, running audit reports, and taking accurate messages for guests and management.
Perform data entry and guest transactions on front desk computer system, utilizing hotel PMS (Property Management System).
Provide quality service for guests in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
Take ownership of guest complaints and provides prompt solutions within scope of authority.
Monitor front desk areas for safety, security, and appearance and reports any injuries, accidents or problems as necessary.
Work with housekeeping and maintenance departments to assess room status for cleanliness, maintenance and any repair work.
Responsible for accurate cash control to include keeping cash drawer and ensuring that all funds are accounted for and deposits made according to policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Night Auditor on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
Check hotel guests in and out.
Makes reservations for guests.
Provide information to guests on the hotel as well as the surrounding area.
Keeps desk area stocked with necessary materials.
Post charges and ensure overall proper payment.
Using Night Audit checklist, run close-out reports and back-ups.
Other duties as assigned by management.

The Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport is looking to add a part-time night auditor to the front office team. The position would be two nights a week 11 pm-7 am. Has the possibility for more hours or covering the full-time night auditor when she is out of the office. Pay would be $12.00 - $15.00 per hour.
Receive a $200.00 hiring bonus after 60 days.
This position is responsible for balancing and closing the previous business day and completing daily financial reports. This position successfully manages a person in charge duties during the overnight shift, including showing sound judgment in making independent decisions and ensuring security protocols are being followed. Assists guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner, while following CPMA high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
This position works primarily independently with the assistance of third-party security and an overnight shuttle driver.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the manager-on-duty role during 3rd shift. Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly and positive manner. Responsible for providing the highest level of service.
Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests. Assists guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
Ability to work independently or in a team in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments when necessary. Understands and follows the hotel guest service recovery program.
Accountable for accurately balancing all revenue sources and completing daily financial reports. Process no-show reservations and prepare financial reports for managerial review. Close the financial day for the hotel.
Follows proper selling techniques and ensures strategies are utilized to maximize room revenues. Monitors room availability, follows restrictions, and all booking policies and procedures. Drives sales and maximizes revenue by up-selling rooms and amenities.
Follows hotel procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions.
Responsible for proper use of all equipment and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
Produces a required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties.
After completing financial tasks, works on assigned additional projects, stocking supplies and assisting other over-night staff as needed.
Adheres to hotel general work rules and department procedures. Attends all required department and hotel meetings.
Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with hotel, brand, local, state and federal regulations.
Follows all hotel procedures for guest/associate incidents. Knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
2+ years prior hotel front desk our auditor service experience required, preferably in a full-service hotel setting.
Prior night audit or accounting experience preferred.
Excellent computer knowledge and communication skills needed.
