The Nightingale-Bamford School seeks a first grade homeroom teacher leave replacement from February 2026 through June 2026. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with first grade students and an eagerness and ability to collaborate with others. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate a strong interest in and understanding of child development, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, take initiative, and display an innovative spirit. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred
Minimum of five years' experience in elementary education

Manager of Safety and Security
The Nightingale-Bamford School is seeking a Manager of Safety & Security. The Manager of Safety and Security's role will be to establish and lead all activities related to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, employees, visitors, contractors, and all community members through collaboration with local government planners, public safety officials, law enforcement, first responders, municipal and governmental agencies. This position requires a high degree of diplomacy, flexibility, adaptability, and a passionate commitment to the safety of students, colleagues, and visitors in a warm, caring, creative, and effective learning environment. The Manager should be a safety professional, patient, effective, and clear communicator with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
The Manager of Safety and Security will also play a supporting role to the Director of Safety and Security.
The schedule is based on a 40-hour work week. The work hours will be scheduled according to the school's needs, with the regular expected schedule of 2:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. on school days.
This is an exempt role with an immediate start date. This position reports to the Director of Safety & Security / Director of Operations & Capital Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Enforce comprehensive safety and security policies and procedures, including emergency management and response, risk and accident prevention, visitor management, asset protection, fire prevention, and workplace safety.
Collaborate with School personnel to create a culture of safety by integrating safety, security, and emergency preparedness measures into the School's daily practices in a manner supportive of all individuals and departments.
Conduct safety, security, and emergency preparedness training sessions for students and employees, coordinating with local law enforcement as appropriate.
Assisting with the oversight of the security officers' team.
Cover the security management duties for special events and large school functions.
Conduct and maintain accurate records of required fire and safety drills.
Foster strong relationships with and serve as liaison to police, fire, medical, and other public safety officials.
Conduct safety, security, and emergency preparedness assessments of facilities.
Assure school safety compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
Receive and review all reports of suspicious or criminal activity on school grounds; maintain statistics and conduct appropriate investigations.
Coordinate with appropriate school personnel to ensure proper safety and security measures for outside programs that are held in the Schoolhouse.
Respond to all off-hours emergencies at the schoolhouse as needed (fire alarm, burglar alarm, etc) and provide reports to Head of School, Chief Financial & Operating Officer, Director of Operations & Capital Management, and Director of Safety & Security.
Perform administrative duties in support of the Security & Safety Team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll
Coordinate and monitor the entire payroll system of the organization on a daily basis.

Job Summary:The cook is to assist in the preparation of meals in the kitchen under the guidance and direction of the Executive Sous Chef and the management team. The person will perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. Position OverviewRiverdale seeks an enthusiastic and visionary mathematics teacher to serve as our next math department chair. Position Overview
The Head of Hill Campus Maintenance is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations on the Hill Campus. Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities, this position ensures the upkeep, safety, and efficient functioning of all mechanical systems and building infrastructure. The Head of Hill Campus Maintenance provides daily supervision and guidance to a team of maintenance professionals, coordinates with other operations teams, and supports the overall mission of the School through service excellence and effective stewardship of campus resources.Key Responsibilities
Lead, schedule, and assign daily work orders for the Maintenance Team using the electronic work-order system.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems on the Hill Campus.
Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies, tools, and replacement parts; place orders as needed.
Supervise and coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.
Operate HVAC equipment and associated building management systems.
Support the Grounds Team with equipment maintenance as necessary.
Collaborate with the custodial and grounds departments to coordinate event setups and logistics.
Ensure adherence to all safety codes, school policies, and applicable NYC regulations.
Promote teamwork, communication, and accountability within the Maintenance Department.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities.
Leadership & Management Expectations
Provide daily supervision, coaching, and professional support to Maintenance team members.
