Training
As an Outside Plant Construction Technician II, you will have the opportunity to obtain a Class A CDL through our in-house training program. You will attend safety training at one of our new facilities where you will also be trained on Pole Climbing and Bucket Trucks. On-the-job training includes exposure to various construction equipment including Directional Drill Rigs, Mini Excavators, Trenchers, and Locators. Fiber optic training includes Fusion Splicing, Fault Detection, and exposure to OTDRs and other advanced testing equipment.
The duration of training varies based on the team assignment. Training for underground teams is 3 weeks, with an additional 1 week required for aerial training. Depending on factors such as market needs, prior skills, and team size, some individuals may only complete underground training, while others may undergo the full 4-week program, including aerial training.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and handling equipment, with the ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.
Work conditions often include exposure to outdoor weather, attics, crawl spaces, high-risk areas (e.g., high voltage, trenches, manholes), and mechanical equipment. Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, fumes, and loud noise is expected.

Team Summary: Within the Real Estate department, the Security team is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all NOA personnel as well as deterring property damage, trespassing, and theft.
We focus on providing a safe workspace through 24/7 electronic monitoring and physical response.
Security services include emergency and non-emergency first aid, afterhours access and escorts, employee badges, parking, lost and found, business closure information, and more.
This is a fixed term position of up to 6 months.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:· Identify and prioritize physical security and safety needs for staff and properties.
· Monitor physical security operations center including electronic access control, network video, mass notification, and fire detection systems in a Security Operations Center.
· Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, threats, activated alarms, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, suspicious activity, and other incidents or conditions.
· Manage company identification and access card processes.
· Perform duties related to the control, monitoring, and granting of access into controlled areas.
· Investigate and respond to reported suspicious activity.
· Provide excellent service, customer relations and communications skills in dealing with employees, vendors, visitors, and contractors.
Create and maintain an atmosphere that is responsive, courteous, and respectful; presents a professional image.
· Document physical security activities and incidents to comply with company records retention policy.
· Provide oversight and direction to contract security personnel.
· Conduct proactive interior and exterior marked vehicle and foot patrols for deterrent and incident response.
· Participate on committees or work groups as assigned.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:· 3 to 5 years of related experience required.
· Requires developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience.
· Requires developed skills to perform day-to-day activities.
· High school diploma or equivalent, Specialized training in security procedures or equivalent preferred.
· Must obtain first aid and CPR/AED certification after hiring.
· Able to work designated shift of Sun-Wed 12pm - 10pm, onsite at Redmond office.

This position is ONSITE in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This position includes a base pay range of $27.
31 - $38.
22 per hour, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
