Integrates classroom training, hands on practice and simulation, and on the job training (OJT) events that maximize student learning
Delivers and leads training initiatives that provide practical in field experience for employees to build employee mastery
Identifies and recommends classroom and hands on training activity improvements while working with the curriculum team to continually improving training activities
Partners with field operations, construction, and support operations to continue to develop relevant content
Directs the planning, execution, delivery, and facilitation coordination of training programs in specified discipline
Manage and direct the work of trainees while in training courses
Promotes a safe work environment by actively participating in all aspects of employee safety program and support our interdependent safety culture by ensuring the safety of co-workers
Estimated travel up to 20%

Independently provides learning activities for more complex courses to improve student knowledge
Oversees training of tech trainer 1

Partners with operations management to identify training needs and delivers programs to ensure compliance

Researches, analyzes and applies current technology and related training by reviewing periodicals, journals, attending seminars, etc. to continuously improve training courses
Required Qualifications For Position
1-3 years of experience in electric industry and background in training within a related utility, skilled trades, emergency response community, or in training military personnel
Experience delivering effective technical training & evaluation programs
Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal skills
Knowledge of PC applications/skills
Knowledge of maintenance and operating procedures and processes used in the programs assigned

Working knowledge of PC applications/skills (PST, LMS, Onboard, WMS, MDTs, etc.)

Job Description
What You'll Do:
Facilitate classroom and/or virtual training on sales, products, systems, procedures, and customer service techniques for all new and tenured Advocates as needed. Develop and maintain a strategic training plan that supports performance objectives and addresses identified learning gaps. Build established training curriculum and modules into a Learning Management System. Create and design new content and lessons for the Learning Management System based on sound educational principles.
Maintain all training curriculum and training tools, including the Learning Management System, facilitator and participant guidebooks, bill samples, and reports. Manage testing and performance for all new hires while in training. Evaluate trainees' knowledge to determine necessary follow-up.
Provide reporting and analysis to business leaders illustrating training success and opportunities. Conduct new hire call monitoring and provide individual coaching and motivation. Build and lead a mentorship program for Contact Center Advocates. Evaluate a weekly sample of calls for Quality Compliance. Provide backup coverage for Quality Specialist .Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of three years of experience within a Training or Quality department of a Contact Center and an additional two years as a Trainer/Facilitator or Designer.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Quality Assurance or Instructional Design is a plus.
Knowledge of applicable technology is preferred (LMS and Articulate )
Must be able to demonstrate examples of past material or methodologies.

* Completes welding QA field observations and audits.
Technical Trainer 2: (Includes Technical Trainer 1 duties plus):
* Independently provides learning activities for more complex courses to improve student knowledge
* Oversees training of tech trainer 1
* Implements/trains learning initiatives that provide practical in field experience for employees
* Identifies/reacts to learning opportunities, while developing employees towards masterly level of job positions
* Partners with operations management to identify training needs and delivers programs to ensure compliance
* Identifies needs and participates with Gas Standard reviews within operations
* Researches, analyzes and applies current technology and related training by reviewing periodicals, journals, attending seminars, etc. to continuously improve training courses
* Monitors energy industry trends, analyzes potential impacts and recommends strategic approaches
Required Qualifications For Position
* 3+ years of experience in gas industry/welding experience and background in training within a related utility, skilled trades, emergency response community, or in training military personnel
* Experience delivering effective technical training & evaluation programs
* Knowledge of maintenance and operating procedures and processes used in the programs assigned
* Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal skills
* Working knowledge of PC applications/skills (PST, LMS, Onboard, WMS, MDTs, etc.)
* Acquire and maintain welding permit along with associated welding OQ's
* Estimated travel up to 20%
* DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid driver's license

* Direct pipeline experience
* Other technical related certifications upon Hire

$79,800.00 - $119,600.00
