    Project Manager is accountable for all aspects of project life cycle management, including accurate budgeting and forecasting, combined with effective planning and execution for designated projects within the Generation Major Projects organization. Projects managed by this organization typically range from ~$10M to over $500M in total spend. This team performs large and or complex projects or engineering studies for NIPSCO which includes projects supporting electric generation, electric transmission, environmental remediation, and other scopes of work of larger size or with higher complexity. Projects are typically first of their kind for NIPSCO and almost always multi-year. The Project Manager requires proactive leadership to integrate and collaborate with both internal and external project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Collaborate with and build strong working relationships with internal and external groups to coordinate work efforts. Utilize OMS, SCADA, and other operational programs and systems to monitor and maintain the health of the distribution system. Review all planned switching requests and analyze all system impacts and feasibility, including working with field operations and planning engineers. Assist in all emergency switching requests and outage restoration, collaborating with ESSO supervisor, distribution dispatchers and dispatch operators. Monitor Distribution Automation System for real time alarms and status changes. Track all switching on the system take out and go back dates are in compliance. Run ADMS analysis such as Power Flow, Fault Location Analysis, Feeder Load Management and other in the future. Verification and commissioning of GIS data in NMS. Work with NMS support team to update and validate model in OMS. Periodically assume duties of ESSO Supervisor.
