Position Overview:
This is a dual position:
• The forklift operator ensures the packaging, handling, and shipment of a quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations

Forklift Operator duties and responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Plant Shipping Supervisor, the Forklift Driver/Operators responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Ensures all equipment, guards, and safety devices are in place at all times, and follows safe work procedures and safety rules
• Operates sit-down propane forklift to transport inventory and load tractor trailers for shipment
• Transports inventory in warehouse to correct locations and stages orders for shipment
• Understands daily production schedule and corresponds with management, leads, and coworkers accordingly
• Performs visual inspection of aluminum cans and packaging quality
• Monitors schedules, equipment, or processes, and reports problems to Supervisor
• Follows all SOP's (standard operating procedures) and communicates with proper personnel as concerns or issues arise
• Assist Quality Assurance in locating pallets for sampling
• Performs other related duties as required

Palletizer Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
The Palletizer Operator is an entry-level position will be responsible for operating automatic can palletizing equipment to pattern and/or transfer cans to and from pallets
• Minimum 18 years old
• High School diploma or G.E.D preferred
• Equivalent with 3+ years working on a sit-down forklift experience required
• Working in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred)
• Must be able to withstand extreme climate changes especially during summer and winter months
• Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time
• Effective record keeping skills and the ability to focus on details
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods as well as work on elevated stationary platforms and withstand extreme climate changes especially during summer months
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail, good record keeping, and precision abilities is highly desirable
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, either nights from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., or days from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekends and overtime as business needs dictate

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
· Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
· Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
· Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.

GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
· Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

Other Requirements:
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.

Safety and Supervision:
* Enforce camp policies and procedures

Weekly Responsibilities:
* Organize daily devotions for Lifeguards.
* Assume direct supervision of the Lifeguard staff.
* Prepare job assignments and schedules for Lifeguards. Including scheduled rotations at Pool.
* Direct all waterfront activities in the pool and on the lake.
* Test and classify swimming abilities of staff and campers at the beginning of each session.
* Coordinate with the Recreation Director to provide waterfront activities for all camp programs.
* Initiate a strict water safety program in keeping with Red Cross, American Camping Association, and State of Washington requirements.
* Carry out pool and lake operational procedures according to Camp Arnold Policy.
* Provide for the constant watch and supervision of campers and staff during swim periods.
* Maintain swimming pool, including the keeping of maintenance records.
* Plan and carry out special waterfront programs in harmony with the Recreation Director.
* Utilize staff abilities to best advantage in carrying out the waterfront program and instruct staff assigned to waterfront duties.
* Enforce rules of the waterfront and help in camper discipline.
* Daily: Clean and scrub bathrooms, deck, equipment and pool area. Vacuum pool as needed.
* Prior to each swim session, make sure all areas are clean and in order.
* Know and be able to execute emergency procedures.
* Organize weekly in-service for all lifeguard certified staff members.
* Lead campfire devotion when required by the Timberlake Program Director.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
