Ensures compliance with all safety policies and practices. 7. Maintains cleanliness and organization based on 5S standards. 8. Participates in management efforts towards process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Advanced knowledge with BAS systems, Carrier i-Vu knowledge is a plus Requires an individual with an advanced skillset in BAS / controls programming Programming of controls systems and implementing developed Sequence of Operations Complete each assigned project focusing on customer satisfaction and specification compliance while maintaining budgetary guidelines Partner with sales function to set parameters for equipment needs and project timeline Create submittals, read and understand project specifications and MEP drawing sets, controls and shop drawings Document and track project completion with as-builts and final program notation with all field changes in collaboration with our Project Manager Assemble Operation & Maintenance Manuals for completed projects. Utilize company and as required customer standard programs for designing graphic function blocks for assigned projects Test project programs to ensure specified sequences of operation are met and performed accordingly to industry standards Inspect HVAC system including point-to-point, determining the proper operating ranges for field devices, as well as complete functional system checkouts Conduct graphics engineering functions which include creating equipment and floor plan graphics per project documents Submit material orders for project- required materials to the purchasing group. Job requires some fieldwork with controllers and associated components alongside our Controls Field Engineers Assist in the development of functional checkpoints lists for commissioning and additional documentation requirements to commission the system or work with the Commissioning Agent Incentive compensation eligible Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in Project Engineering/Management Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of computers, setup procedures, and networking systems Previous experience in AutoCAD and Bluebeam Working experience with Carrier i-Vu, Tridium or BACnet systems Proficient with Microsoft Suite Excellent written and verbal communications skills Knowledge in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control Prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation Carrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
