Experience as a computer operator, RPO, air traffic control specialist, or (student) pilot is highly desirable. Position Summary: The Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) operates a combination of Cathode Ray Tube (CRT)/keyboard/Voice Communication System (VCS) to simulate the actions and communication of pilots and remote ATC facilities during medium and high-fidelity training exercises. RPOs receive voice commands from students, input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions, translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology, and respond to the student via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a UAS / UAV / RPV Pilot / Operator position This is a Full-time position Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of experience in a comparable position. Operate heavy equipment, including a forklift, man lift, and crane. Perform routine plant surveillance to report and correct, if possible, any abnormal situations. Complete and maintain all level one required training and certification. Observe all company policies. Observe all safety policies and procedures. Participate in plant safety processes and immediately report any unsafe conditions. Remain current on the requirements of the QMS and ensure that your actions support the Company Quality Policy towards continual improvement. Read and interpret utility maps, blueprints, and job plans to ensure proper placement of conduit or piping. Perform horizontal directional boring and locate bore path using electronic locating equipment. Work closely with drill locator to guide and complete bores safely and accurately. Monitor drill fluid pressures, pullback forces, and equipment performance during operations. Troubleshoot drilling issues and perform basic maintenance on the drill and support equipment. Ensure proper documentation of bore logs, as-builts, and job site activities. Adhere to company safety standards and OSHA regulations at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring public and team safety. Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of HDD operating experience, preferably with Ditch Witch AT-series equipment. Strong understanding of underground utility construction and drilling operations. Ability to read construction drawings and interpret utility locate markings.
