ROLE SUMMARY:

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Base Pay Range. The base pay range for this position is the range National Life reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors, including: prior experience and job-related knowledge; education, training and certificates; current business needs; and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.
Additional Compensation and Benefits. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in National Life's discretionary annual incentive programs, subject to the rules governing such programs. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and National Life reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The Strategic Planning and Partnerships Intern will be an integral part of the team responsible for generating and delivering insights that drive performance improvements and enable data-driven decision making across our Life & Annuity Operations. This role offers hands-on experience in operational analysis, vendor strategy support, and the use of a range of data sources, analytical tools, and visualization software to support strategic initiatives and day-to-day team operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will:
Conduct ad hoc analyses to address key business questions and uncover actionable insights.
Support the development and enhancement of capacity modeling by connecting operational volume, expense data, and service levels.
Assist in the monthly reporting and forecasting process, with a focus on unit cost performance and key operational drivers.
Create insightful visualizations of the data that include findings from deep dive analyses and actionable recommendations that focus on our key operational goals.
Analyze and manipulate data to produce accurate performance metrics, including measures of efficiency, scalability, and quality.
Contribute to process improvements by standardizing and automating reporting tools and dashboards.
Collaborate with financial and operational analysts to strengthen our expense analytics capabilities and community.
Assist in monitoring vendor service levels and turnaround times, helping track adherence to contractual obligations.
Support analysis of vendor invoices, costs, and volume trends to ensure alignment with business and operational goals.
Contribute to vendor performance reviews by preparing summary data and observations.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to observe how vendor relationships are managed, and escalations are resolved.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will collaborate with seasoned professionals in Identity Access Management, security monitoring, engineering and architecture. Monitor, investigate, and respond to identity management alerts and business access issues.
Assist in identifying root causes and recommending remediation steps for role access issues.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented College Intern Financial Analyst to join our Technology finance team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis within a dynamic business environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior financial analysts and managers to support various financial activities and gain exposure to real-world financial operations. They will interact with many of the groups comprising our IT and accounting teams, including architecture, data, infrastructure, applications, PMO and corporate accounting and financial planning. The intern will learn some of the basic accounting, financial analysis and budgeting concepts as well as technology accounting and apply them in meaningful projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This opportunity provides exposure to the day-to-day functions of an entry level financial analyst position, with a unique insight into accounting and financial analysis for a technology organization. This will include assisting in the development of automation for financial reporting and budgeting using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and excel macros. POSITION SUMMARY:
The NLG Audit team is looking to hire two summer interns. NLG Audit interns are part of a diverse and dynamic team of accounting, audit, IT and life insurance professionals. You will gain a foundational understanding of the Audit process, including risk assessment, internal control identification and testing techniques. Our team works across all levels and functions in the organization to ensure the integrity of the financial statements and company processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific tasks to be performed throughout the summer include:
Test controls as part of the Model Audit Rule Program (MAR). The Interns will execute test plans of key controls through inquiry, observation, examination, and/or re-performance under the supervision of the Audit team. This will include obtaining the appropriate control documentation and documenting test results according to Internal Audit testing standards.
Perform Direct Assistance work for NLG's financial auditors (PwC) - The Interns will be responsible for executing an audit program. This will include obtaining the data from the applicable administrative and financial systems and perform procedures to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data as noted in the audit program.
Assist the Internal Audit Department in performing risk and control analysis on various business processes. The Interns will be responsible for setting up meetings with departments, updating the documentation, helping to analyze risk and risk conclusions, mapping risks to the appropriate controls, and reviewing controls to ensure that they are meeting applicable standards.

The Digital Marketing & AI Research Intern will work as a contributing member of the Digital Marketing Team and partner with key stakeholders in the Marketing & Brand business unit to explore how AI and analytics can enhance marketing strategy, audience insights, campaign performance, and optimized content creation. This role will focus on evaluating AI-driven marketing tools, exploring how AI can optimize discoverability and support best-in-class SEO practices. Additionally, the role will research audience attributes and behavior through analytics.
Insights from this AI research will be used guide marketing decisions, improve targeting, optimize campaigns, create optimized content and identify new channels or methods. The Digital Marketing & AI Research Intern will emerge from this experience with strengthened professional skills, exposure to enterprise-level digital marketing practices, and tangible contributions to meaningful initiatives that advance National Life Group's digital transformation.

By the end of the internship, the ideal intern would:
Deliver a research report summarizing AI tools for marketing, with pros/cons and recommendations.

Build dashboards or presentations highlighting insights from GA4 and other analytics sources.
Document best practices or playbooks for marketing teams to integrate AI in campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. Major, specialization or minor in Digital Marketing highly desirable.
Strong writing and communication skills, capable of translating research and analytics into actionable insights.
Deep interest in emerging AI applications in marketing and emerging technologies. Coursework in Marketing Research or Marketing Research methods and/or experience writing and presenting research reports is required.
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, social media, and campaign measurement.

Base Pay Range. The base pay range for this position is the range National Life reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors, including: prior experience and job-related knowledge; education, training and certificates; current business needs; and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.
Additional Compensation and Benefits. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in National Life's discretionary annual incentive programs, subject to the rules governing such programs. Base Pay Range. The position will focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of illustration systems when new products and riders are developed. We are seeking an Affiliated Distribution Channel Intern to join our team for the summer. You will be a partner with team members to support our efforts on a variety of projects, programs, and experiences across the channel. Specifically, you will:
Coordinate logistics for training events, leadership programs, and other in-person development opportunities.
Collect and assess learning evaluation results and tracking metrics.
Support development of internal marketing and communication plans to promote and raise awareness for programming and initiatives.
Assist our Key Account Managers who work to support our agents' sales activities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct business analytics and industry research, transforming data-driven insights into strategic opportunities that support shared goals and drive informed decision-making.
Assist with the market research on various markets we are looking to open.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
You will learn the following as part of their internship experience:
Gain practical knowledge of how sales enablement skills are important to the success of an organization.
Gain knowledge of how team capabilities (strategy, program development and delivery) support business outcomes and company mission.
Understand the importance of market research as it relates to strategic business decisions.
Development of practical skills and knowledge of various training programs are delivered.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology or Business Management.
Minimum overall GPA of 3.00
Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position. POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Creative Project Coordinator Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our in-house creative team on a wide range of design, video, web, and marketing projects. You'll gain hands-on experience assisting with project planning, timelines, and task tracking while collaborating closely with designers, writers, and videographers. From gathering project details and organizing assets to communicating updates to stakeholders, you'll learn the ins and outs of how a professional creative studio operates.
This internship offers the opportunity to sharpen organizational and communication skills while contributing to real client and brand initiatives. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll help keep projects moving smoothly, coordinate feedback, and ensure deadlines are met. By the end of the internship, you'll have gained valuable exposure to the creative process, project management tools, and the teamwork that brings marketing campaigns and visual storytelling to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with organizing project details, timelines, and deliverables across design, video, web, and other marketing projects.
Support the Creative Services Manager with traffic and workflow management by helping track and assign tasks in project management tools.
Coordinate with stakeholders on feedback, missing content, and other project updates to keep them moving efficiently.
Help prepare presentations, reports, and recaps for internal and external creative initiatives.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide fresh ideas to support campaigns and projects.
Ensure clear communication between team members and contribute to meeting deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence collaborating across teams.
Detail-oriented and proactive, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Adobe Workfront, Monday.com, Trello)
Knowledge or experience with creative tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) or on a creative team is a plus.
