Job Description
Responsible for leading the coordination of the receipt of inbound cargo and the release of outbound cargo under the requirements assigned by Supervisors or Manager in an efficient and organized manner. To ensure all cargo is received in conformance with NNR requirements and all cargo is shipped in conformance with Customer requirements.
Duties & Functions
Essential:
• Receive and check-in all in-bound cargo (including Dangerous Goods) per required schedule including storage and handling under TSA regulations and comply with customer requirements.
• Release and load all out-bound cargo per required schedule and comply with customer requirements.
• All cargo must be checked prior to receipt/release for damage, loss, missing paperwork or other non-conformities.
• All cargo received must have a completed warehouse/dock receipt completed with proper descriptions including accurate piece count and scaled weight.
• Label outbound cargo (if applicable) House and/or Master Labels after verification against documentation for correctness.
• Prepare all cargo to ensure shipment integrity: Re-palletizing, shrink-wrapping, banding, application of handling labels, etc. as determined by the Supervisor or Manager.
• Ensure all Hazardous Materials are received, stored and handled properly per IATA, DOT, IMDG & TSA regulations.
• Building of pallets and ULD's including Main Deck Pallets as required by Manager or Supervisor.
• Breaking down of pallets and ULD's including Main Deck pallets as required by Manager or Supervisor if applicable.
• Responsible for Screening Cargo, devanning and loading sea freight containers.
• Maintain client inventory, on hand notices and handle pick & pack as determined by 3PL customer requirements if applicable.
• Keep the warehouse clean and ensure that the maintenance of Warehouse Equipment is done as scheduled, request repairs as necessary and maintain warehouse supplies inventory.
• Assist with customer service correspondence. Provide customers with inbound/outbound transaction information.
• Instructing daily accountabilities to warehouse team members and temporary staff as needed.
• Work as a team with other employees.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education & Experience:
• Minimum requirement High School diploma or GED.
• Two years' experience preferred in warehousing.
• Thorough knowledge of freight forwarding for both International and Domestic.
• Ability to pass STA certification and TSA training.
• Certified in Forklift Safety.
• Knowledge of TSA/C-TPAT regulations and practices including security.
• Certified to handle Dangerous Goods.
• Bonded if working in a bonded warehouse area.
Physical requirements:
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 65 pounds of force occasionally, frequently and/or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service Agent, Admin has the basic responsibility for label control, yard coordination, and administrative functions in support of the entire outbound (Shipping and Picking) operation. RESPONSIBILITIES
Label Control:
• Prepare, distribute, and reprint all labels for carton/pallet pickers daily in a fair and consistent manner. Maintain a clear, consistent label flow to allow pickers the opportunity to perform in a safe, accurate, and productive manner without issue or hindrance. Track and document all labels given out.
Yard Coordination:
• Utilize Y/WMS system to communicate outbound pulls and plugs to yard drivers on a daily basis. Assist supervisor to ensure trailer is properly chocked and green light is active before trailers are moved or loading begins.
Administrative Functions:
• Complete computer data entry required for shipments. Issue seals to loaders. Verify accurate, pertinent information (i.e., seal number, trailer number, store number, etc.) in order to prepare Bills of Lading (BOL's) for all completed outbound loads. Schedule LTL carriers for pickup (site specific). Print work assignments for replenishment drivers. Document and file all outbound related paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion. Multitask and work with a high sense of urgency in the performance of all duties. Assist outbound supervisors with compiling and tracking downtime sheets as required. Provide service and adhere to professional etiquette when communicating with members of management, peers, customers, and visitors.
Safety, Sanitation, Security:
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Ensure all seals and sensitive documents are properly secured when not in use. Distribute and collect tools and equipment (i.e., RF guns, bolt cutters, etc.) to associates and report issues to outbound supervisors in a timely manner. Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety. Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS Standard

Role Summary:
Responsible for supporting local operations by ensuring all processes are properly documented and audited. Collect and analyze work data through the use of process audits, time studies, and transaction KPIs to determine efficiency and support continuous improvement of departments.
Principal Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
Responsible for the overall safety and security of assigned facility, operations and staff for the site.
Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements for the site.
Maintain positive IFR statistics and other safety metrics for assigned location/operation
Actively supports and oversees site safety program and committee for the operation in accordance with DSV standards.

Manage and ensure TSA regulatory training and self-assessments, Security Threat Assessments (STA) and ensure that systemic data is up to date and verifiable.
Conduct monthly meeting with screening vendor to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
Manage operational efficiency of TSA screening equipment according to TSA Standards.
Ensure operational compliance with DSV screening SOPs.
Ensure that security systems are inspected, tested and serviced according to security standards.
Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with company, governmental regulatory policies, procedures and client contractual agreements.
Ensure facilities are following DSV Security Standards. (NASS)
Maintain and or establish professional relationship(s) with industry officials/ law enforcement.

· Provides support for the recruiting process (e.g., schedule interviews, sending background checks, attending job fairs/recruitment events as needed, drug tests and contacting select candidates).
· Coordinates the new hire orientation process (e.g., scheduling the orientation, preparing orientation paperwork, and creating the employee files), including I-9 completion/compliance.
· Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
· Provides support on auditing, review and processing the paperwork and forms.

The Manager of Engineering is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and cost-efficient solutions built on best practices, tailored to customers objectives, while driving innovation to streamline operations, solve challenges, and consistently fulfill our commitments. The Manager is responsible for tracking and maintaining their individual engineering metrics that will meet or exceed performance goals. Research/Analysis:
Keep informed of best-in-class tools and techniques needed for solution design
Track all projects and provide communication and guidance to engineering leadership
Determine and enlist resources required to support targeted changes in support of CI project including WMS Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, Quality, Etc.
Analyze workflow including inbound, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and VAS processes to ensure accuracy and ability to execute
Ensures all distribution system functionality is configured to optimize performance (e.g., WMS, LMS)
Performs special research or technical studies critical to logistic support functions
Performs cost/benefit tradeoff analysis and develop ROI business cases for recommended projects involving process, system, or technology change
Develops logistics engineering strategies with the engineering leadership team
May participation in “DSV Quality Planning” (DQP) sessions with new clients validating requirements and processes
Documentation/Reporting:
Document and communicate common processes for all distribution functions within scope of responsibility
Review data and summarize expectations to address gaps in operation
Identify areas for improvement based on analysis of data and observations

Leverage Value Stream Map or Flow Diagram of process to identify critical to quality points

Work with leadership to drive continual improvement programs, Kaizen events, and workshops
Set the standard for innovation within strategic and operational problem solving
Apply traditional concepts to a variety of material handling environments
Ensure that all projects include a sustainability component and drive adherence within the organization
Illustrate continual improvement successes in a case study before & after format that quantifies value
Project Management:
Assist with developing and rolling out strategies and projects
Determine feasibility of projects factoring costs, available space, schedule limitations, company goals, technical requirements and economic factors
Develop and implement project activities plans and timelines, coordinate subcontractors, facility management and field service personnel, and resolve problems in area of logistics to ensure meeting of contractual commitments

* Conducts inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs

Summary
The Logistics Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the transportation and logistics team. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing the scheduling of shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team of logistics coordinators. The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations to meet customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
* To supervise the team in the daily release schedules that each client has.
* Create an effective packing schedule based on routine shipments for cut offs and monitor these closely with the help of the Packing Coordinator.
* To communicate with the Air and Ocean freight supervisors to continually monitor shipments and timelines for cut offs for packing to be worked on to best utilize the warehouse packing operations.
* Communicate with the Packing Coordinator to ensure that all Material Receipts are completed within KPI's.
* Prioritize the workload based on schedules and cut offs.
* Monitor the workload during the day and ensure all issues are dealt with in a timely and effective manner by the Packing Coordinator.
* Monitor overtime and ensure that if worked, it is 100% billed back to the client where possible.
* Instrumental in the training of the Packing Coordinator, especially cross training of the accounts.
* Run the packed not billed report daily/weekly to ensure that all freight packed in a calendar month is billed for in a timely manner.
* Ensure that the Packing Coordinator is running reports based on the data in C2C including Receiving, Material Receipt, Packing and Delivery Reports daily.
* Organize weekly meetings within their team to provide feedback and upcoming issues for customer needs and team members.
* Closely working with warehouse staff to resolve any pending customer/vendor issues, to include walks out in the warehouse if needed.
Educational background / Work experience
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics and transportation operations, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
