I am a corporate hotel finance executive and CPA offering over 18 years of experience leading and advising a $3 billion privately held hotel investment firm through complex capital structures and capital markets transactions. I have strong finance, investor relations and accounting/reporting expertise and experience in mergers and acquisitions. I have structured and negotiated transactions and favorable terms with commercial banks and institutional investors. I am a leader with a track record of documented contributions with raising equity, placing debt and improving financial performance.

I have a detailed approach to diligence, financial/investment forecasting, growth planning, treasury and accounting. I am self-motivated and believe that positive thinking will let you do everything better and motivates team members to do the same. I am a strong people-oriented executive with a reputation for attracting and developing top-performing teams and cultivating very strong relationships with investors and lenders.

My career in the hotel business began as a Controller and accelerated following inclusion in a multi-year asset management training program led by hotel business icons where I learned all facets of the hotel investment business.

Utilizing my hotel business and financial skills and intellectual curiosity, Thayer Lodging provided me an opportunity to:

* Lead a team that raised over $600 million equity from a mixture of institutional, family office and high net worth investors

* Source and negotiate over $3 billion of debt

Jim Conley is a Chief Compliance Officer at Noble Investment Group and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has worked as SVP - Hotel Finance at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Inc.; SVP & Controller at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Inc.; and Director Operations Finance at Embassy Suites. Jim attended Arizona State University until 1982 and Southern Methodist University until 1991.
