This is an independent contractor opportunity for notaries who are confident working independently in a technology-driven, fast-paced remote environment. NotaryCam is a selective platform, and this role is intended for notaries who already have hands-on Remote Online Notarization (RON) experience and can manage live realestate signing sessions with accuracy, professionalism, and composure.
Availability & Scheduling Requirements
*Notaries must be available for a minimum of 10 hours per week
*Consistent availability during standard business hours (approximately 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern) is strongly preferred
*Additional availability during evenings, weekends, or early mornings is welcomed but not sufficient on its own
Role Overview
As a Remote Online Notary performing RealEstate work, you are responsible for facilitating legally compliant, accurate, and secure remote notarizations for a variety of realestate documents using secure online platforms. This role requires strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple documents, multiple signers, and time-sensitive requirements during live signing sessions.
This is not a training role and is not intended for brand-new notaries or those new to remote online notarization
.
Key Responsibilities
* Verify signer identities using approved remote identification methods, including identity proofing and knowledge-based authentication (KBA), as applicable
* Review realestate documents for completeness, accuracy, and legal compliance prior to notarization
* Perform electronic notarial acts, including witnessing signatures and applying electronic seals
* Conduct live realestate RON sessions while maintaining control of the signing process
* Ensure strict compliance with state-specific RON laws and NotaryCam procedures
* Guide signers clearly and professionally through realestate documents and signing steps
* Identify and resolve minor technical, document, or signer issues in real time
* Follow all security and fraud-prevention protocols
* Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, lenders, and title partners
* Stay current on changes to notary laws, RON regulations, and realestate documentation requirements
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Successful NotaryCam realestate notaries consistently demonstrate:
* Strong technical confidence, including the ability to navigate RON platforms, browser tools, and multiple screens simultaneously
* Problem-solving skills to address signer confusion, document issues, or minor technical challenges without disrupting the session
* Effective multitasking while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and professionalism during document-heavy signings
* Calm, professional composure in time-sensitive or high-pressure realestate transactions

* Reliable availability with the ability to commit to at least 10 hours per week, including regular business hours
This role is best suited for notaries who are comfortable managing realestate signings independently and maintaining control of live sessions without direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
All requirements must be met to be considered:
* Minimum six (6) months of active Remote Online Notarization (RON) experience
* Minimum one (1) year as a commissioned Notary Public
* Demonstrated experience notarizing realestate documents
* NNA Signing Agent certification

* Completion of a Remote Online Notarization basic training course (not platform-specific)
* Errors & Omissions insurance with minimum $100,000 coverage
