This is an evergreen job posting that remains open to support installations year round at the museum. At times applications aren't reviewed for several weeks. MASS MoCA's Visual Art Department seeks to grow its pool of on-call registrars to support larger installations throughout the museum. The On-Call Registrar (Temporary/Seasonal) is a temporary hourly position that will work alongside the full time registration, curatorial and installation/fabrication staff. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and a team player, who will work to achieve deadlines collaboratively. About the Museum
MASS MoCA is a vibrant non-collecting art museum with approximately 300,000 square feet of exhibition space. The additional space is dedicated to long-term exhibitions in conjunction with artists, estates, and collections that run from 10 months to 25 years. Receive, review and transmit emergency-related and law enforcement-related communications by operating emergency 9-1-1 communication systems, computer systems, telephone networks, and a worldwide police telecommunications system in order to disseminate information on emergencies, answer complaints, and transmit broadcast orders to coordinate the dispatching of public safety personnel. Receive, review and transmit emergency and non-emergency test calls to ensure proper operation, location information and routing.
Provide information via communications systems to coordinate the activities of emergency and other public safety personnel who are engaged in responding to critical incidents and major threats to public safety and/or security such as natural disasters, fires, domestic abuse reports, emergency medical situations, psychological commitments, vehicle pursuits, surveillance, searches, safety hazards, etc.,

The CSIS Europe, Russia, and Eurasia (ERE) program seeks to develop a deeper understanding of Europe's political, security, and economic evolution and its future role in the world; geopolitical developments in the circumpolar Arctic; the implications of Russia's foreign and defense policies for transatlantic security; and political and economic developments in Russia and Eurasia.
The research internship will focus on ERE's Russia portfolio. More specifically, an intern will provide research assistance within a project funded by the Russia Strategic Initiative, U.S. European Command. The project is looking at Russia's key defense firms, various internal and external factors impacting production rates and product quality, along with Moscow's overall defense industrial manufacturing capacity.
Tentative internship start and end dates are February 2, 2026 and May 29, 2026. The internship will be part-time (around 20 hours per week) and can be hybrid, with both virtual and in-person components, depending on the candidate's location and availability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Provide relevant research, writing, and editing support to multiple staff members within the highlighted research project;
* Discover, clean, organize, and analyze various Russian-language data sources;
* Monitor relevant Russian-language paper and press releases;
* Perform ad hoc requests and other duties as necessary in support of staff members within the highlighted research project.
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
* Should be currently enrolled in a thematically relevant master's or bachelor's program (in the case of undergrads, 3rd or 4th year students are preferred);
* Interest or experience in Russian domestic and foreign policies; Russian defense industry; and/or Russian economy;
* Advanced knowledge of Russian language is required;
* Knowledge of different data scraping and processing tools (R Studio, Python, etc.) is preferred;
* Excellent record in an academic and research environment;
* Strong writing, editing, communication, and time management skills.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
As an RN, you play a key role in assessing the needs of our patients to create and implement their plan of care. This position is responsible for serving as case managers and for providing individualized goal directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process in accordance with physician's orders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Essential functions:
Utilizing the nursing process, assesses patient/care giver needs in order to provide quality care to assigned patients.
Develops and communicates a realistic plan of care for each patient.
Serves as Case Manager for assigned patients and actively manages case loads and visit times in accordance with agency productivity standards.
Implements medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary to ensure the safe effective quality of care for patients.
Stays up-to-date on a variety of High-Tech skills; IV use and maintenance, wound VAC, complex wound care, etc.
In accordance with LPN scope of practice, works collaboratively with LPN's to ensure that the plan of care is followed, delegates tasks and ensures that patient needs are met.
Consistently reviews documentation, annotates visit notes and acts on recommendations in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Evaluates a variety of aspects of implemented plan of care including, but not limited to identified problems, care provided and patient's responses, to meet patient/care giver needs and ensure overall quality of care delivered.
Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the effective integration of information for use by the health care team to ensure on-going and continued quality of care.
Performs patient and care giver education to ensure informed patient decisions can be made, including, but not limited to, medication side effects, treatment options, discharge instructions, reportable conditions, ranges of services, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
Registered Nurse (RN) license
2+ years of nursing experience is preferred
On-call and holiday rotation required
Have self-direction and initiative, as well as be able to work collaboratively with colleagues within the agency.
Experienced with electronic medical records required.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and on call for both hospice and home care patients.
Exceptional bedside manner and communication skills.
Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
Valid Vermont Driver's License and car insurance.
