1977

NADG was founded in 1977 by its Chairman, John W. S. Preston.

1986

American Asset Corporation is privately owned and was founded in 1986 by Count Arco in order to establish and grow an institutional quality real estate portfolio earning superior risk-adjusted returns in the United States commercial real estate market.

1987

In 1987, NADG entered the United States market and acquired a number of shopping centers in Florida.

1994

By 1994, Centrecorp had become the largest third party real estate provider in Canada and by the end of that decade expanded its operations into the United States Today, Centrecorp has approximately 30 million square feet of GLA under management and administration.

2000

Centrefund was sold in August 2000.

2007

In 2007, NADG acquired the balance of Sterling in a $280 million privatization transaction.

2021
