Under Gardner’s leadership, NAB now employs over 900 people at his corporate office and other locations with an additional 3,000 plus independent agents located across the country. Today, North American Bancard continues to expand both organically and through strategic acquisitions. Ernst & Young recognized Gardner as the 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year for the Central Great Lakes region. This award is considered the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs and it is recognized globally. An active philanthropist and avid supporter of the arts, Gardner serves on the Board of Directors at MOCAD (Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit) and provides philanthropic support to numerous organizations, including: AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Friendship Circle, Detroit Public Television, Cranbrook and the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Gordon Rimac is the chief technology officer for North American Bancard (NAB), a multi-faceted payment solutions provider dedicated to delivering the latest payments technology with the highest level of customer service. In 2001, North America Bancard (NAB) tapped Rimac to be its chief technology officer and manage the company’s growing technology requirements, and has driven NAB’s technical evolution for the past thirteen years. Rimac leads the expansion of NAB’s tech support team and its resources, developing a complete in-house technology department, and implementing systems along the way to allow NAB to automate many company processes. In 2010, Rimac and his team led the development of the core technology, software and Web systems with the company’s launch of PayAnywhere, a mobile and storefront payment service powered by North American Bancard. Prior to joining NAB, Rimac served as the chief engineer with OE Enterprise Solutions. Rimac obtained a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from GMI Engineering and Management Institute, and a Master of Computer Science and Engineering from Oakland University.

Parkinson is responsible for the company’s IT operations and the engineering of its world-class payment solutions. Parkinson comes to NAB with extensive experience with digital projects and strategies, and in leading IT teams. In his most recent position at Valassis, Parkinson was the chief technical officer, chief digital officer and executive vice president of digital advertising, where he was responsible for the oversight of the company’s technology directions, development and implementation of the digital media strategy. Before joining Valassis, Parkinson spent more than two decades at Sun Microsystems in a variety of positions, including senior vice president of cloud computing engineering. In addition, he led the software development products division. While there, he was part of the team that built the world’s first utility computing platform that led to the introduction of cloud technology. Parkinson graduated with honors from Walden University with a Bachelor of Science in information systems.

Prior to joining NAB, Kirk spent four years as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Atlas Oil Company, a multi-billion dollar revenue generating energy distribution company with business in over 23 states. Prior to Atlas, Kirk co-founded and served as president of the investment banking firm Donnelly Penman & Partners for nine years. Prior to that Kirk was a vice president within the investment banking group of Raymond James and its predecessors for seven years. Kirk majored in Finance and obtained a BSBA degree from Georgetown University. Kirk also holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Detroit.
