Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments. Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs. Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education. Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements. Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards. Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements. What You'll Need to Succeed Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training. 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific). Current CPR certification. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.
