The Director, Plant Operations at RWJ Hamilton will lead a dynamic team of engineers, mechanics, and operations specialists to ensure the highest levels of physical environment readiness in support of exceptional patient care. We need a hands-on leader who understands the intricacies of healthcare facility management across all relevant specialties, such as HVAC, electrical and power generation, refrigeration, plumbing, building infrastructure and envelope, and equipment and grounds regulatory compliance. As the Director, Plant Operations, a typical day might include the following:
Assessing the reliability and proper operations of building systems and equipment in developing a preventative maintenance program
Participating in weekly “DNV” rounding to ensure remediation items are completed
Overseeing construction and renovation projects, ensuring all proper ICRA, ILSM, and applicable code standards are met
Engaging departmental and senior leadership to assess plant readiness and identify improvement opportunities
Representing plant operations at the Safety Committee, DNV, and the Emergency Management Committee meetings
Driving compliance with regulatory testing schedules for major systems such as emergency generators, fire systems, fuel tanks, and life safety systems.
Collaborating with RWJBH Facilities Management executive leadership on capital projects

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field-preferably in mechanical, facilities, or electrical engineering-and a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience. A Certified Healthcare Compliance Certification and/or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager credential is strongly desired. We need someone with proven and progressive experience in the maintenance and operation of major building systems such as HVAC, electrical and power generation, refrigeration, plumbing, building infrastructure and envelope, and equipment and grounds maintenance is required. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing preventative maintenance programs is required. The ability to build and manage both operating and capital budgets is required. A solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and surveys for DNV, JCAHO DOH, DCA, local AHJs and other regulatory agencies is required. Job Title: Chemist I

We are seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Formulation Scientist to support the development of skincare and haircare products. This role involves batching lab-scale formulations, evaluating product appearance, texture, and stability, documenting results, and assisting with stability testing under close supervision. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a lab environment. A bachelor's degree in a science-related field and a strong interest in the cosmetic industry are required.
Responsibilities
Under close supervision, completes tasks as directed. Adheres to set objectives and standards.
Ordering raw materials, making batches and keeping track of experiments in lab notebook.
Performs and tracks stability on all formulas made. Needs to be detailed-oriented.
Open communication to bring to the attention of the chemists/manager of any stability issues.
Interface with support groups for testing requests via IT system.
Requirements
BS, Chemistry or related field required, 0-3 Years of Experience
Strong interest in the cosmetic industry,
Computer literacy
Excellent communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Team-player and positive attitude, Intellectually curious to learn
Familiarity with Rheology is a plus.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated individual looking to join an exciting and diverse team. This is a tremendous opportunity for an individual who wants to join a specialty contractor that performs work on many of the largest construction projects in the Northeast. The candidate must have experience in exterior envelope construction. Responsible for project scheduling, material and subcontractor procurement, construction coordination, site logistics, project change management, and budget forecasts. Position also requires customer interaction at a very high level.
This position is onsite out of our Elizabeth, NJ location.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of project execution including scheduling, procurement of materials and subcontractors, site logistics, construction coordination, change management, and budget forecasting.
Oversee installation of various roofing systems, including single-ply membranes (EPDM, PVC, TPO), SBS, hot-modified systems, underground waterproofing, and air/vapor barriers (both liquid and sheet-applied).
Supervise the construction of commercial, healthcare, and educational facilities across the Philadelphia region.
Coordinate the installation of a variety of panel systems such as aluminum composite panels, insulated panels, single-skin corrugated panels, phenolic panels, and fiber cement panels.
Manage project controls across all phases-Pre-Construction, Construction, and Close-out. Responsibilities include understanding scopes and contracts, liaising between the contract and management teams, and supervising administrative, operations, maintenance staff, and subcontractors.
Prepare accurate cost forecasts, manage project submittals and schedules, maintain detailed communication records, respond promptly to emails, review supplier purchase orders, and attend weekly project meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Five (5) years of construction management experience is desired.
Strong and demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
Ability to multi-task and take direction.
Knowledge of Construction Industry
Proficient in Excel, Word, Adobe

Role Description
