Provide direct patient care, meeting both physical and psychological needs during perioperative phases. Competently use Philips Cardiac Monitor and assist with airway assessment and management including O2 therapy and ventilator management. Perform thorough and accurate documentation of post-operative care. Apply critical thinking, prioritize duties, and demonstrate time management throughout the perioperative setting. Ensure proper collection, labeling, and processing of blood/urine specimens, ensuring timely delivery to the lab. Set up and monitor PA lines, including Cardiac Output, A-Line, CVP, and Swan-Ganz. Qualifications: Must possess current hospital experience (within the past 5 years) Prefer minimum of 1 year recent PACU or Critical Care or ED experience Must be knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application--assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. At time of hire, we ask that you either have a current active PALS certification or obtain PALS Certification within the first 6 months of hire.
