This is a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position. The faculty member will be responsible for developing and delivering course content in business analytics, information systems, and information technology. The faculty member should have experience teaching first-generation and diverse students. Industry/professional experiences and certifications are desirable.
The University is on a journey to become a Research 1 (R1) institution. The faculty member will be responsible for continuously publishing in high-quality peer-reviewed journals while developing and delivering high-quality course content in business analytics, information systems, and information technology at the undergraduate and MBA levels, both on campus and online. In addition to carrying out impactful teaching and research, faculty member is expected to actively engage in service to the department, college, university, community, and profession. Faculty member is expected to engage with external partners and support grant and external funding opportunities.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The Department of Business Information Systems and Analytics is one of five academic departments in the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University, located in Greensboro, NC. North Carolina A&T State University is a 1890 land-grant
doctoral research-intensive university that prepares students to advance the human condition and facilitate economic growth in North Carolina and beyond by providing a preeminent and diverse educational experience through teaching, research, and scholarly application of knowledge.
The Department of Business Information Systems and Analytics (BISA) currently offers three degrees: BS in Business Information Technology (online and face-to-face), BS in Management Information Systems, and a BS in Business Analytics (face-to-face and approved for online). All three degrees are AACSB-accredited programs. The BISA department currently has nine full-time faculty, all of whom hold terminal degrees, and five part-time faculty.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Business/Data Analytics, Decision Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution at the time of appointment.
Candidates should demonstrate the potential to establish a research record through publications in refereed journals, national and international conferences, book chapters, and other scholarly activities.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
A strong foundation in applying Information Technology and Analytics to business situations/applications is preferred. Candidates adept in the use of cloud-based tools to support instruction in a variety of areas, like programming, databases, etc., will be preferred.Candidates with professional experience in the Information Technology and Information Systems area and experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in IS/IT and Analytics are preferred.
Candidates should be academically qualified under SACS to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the Business Information Systems and Analytics department, primarily Information Technology, but also Information Systems and Analytics. Industry and professional certifications in the area of Information Systems/Technology and Analytics are encouraged.

Essential Job Duties
The main purpose of the NC State University Police Officer position is to protect and serve the students, faculty, staff and visitors of North Carolina State University through law enforcement and crime prevention. The selected candidate(s) will patrol campus and investigate complaints and violations of State laws and local ordinances. Essential Job Duties
The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University invites applicants for a 9-month, professional faculty position as an Assistant or Associate Professor of the Practice in Natural Resources Management of Energy Installation Sites. This position is 75% teaching and 25% service. Responsibilities include teaching an average of 15 credit hours per year, including courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, both in-person and distance education, and advising undergraduate students and graduate students in the online Master of Environmental Assessment (MEA) program as assigned. Service responsibilities (25%) include supporting workforce development programs in renewable energy, serving on department and university committees, facilitating professional development for students, guiding students in capstone projects in area of expertise (stakeholder engagement or environmental impact assessment), and engaging with professional societies and other stakeholders in renewable energy assessment.
Teaching and Mentoring Responsibilities (75%):
The candidate will teach in-person and online courses in natural resource management and renewable energy development such as ET 220 Solar Photovoltaics Assessment, NR484 Environmental Impact Assessment, ES 300 Energy and the Environment, and EA 521 Fundamentals of Renewable Energy Site Assessment. Past Shelton Challenge experience is preferred, but not required.
Salary: CMTs will be compensated via a one-time payment that will amount to $600 to help remove barriers for college students serving in this invaluable role. All wages will be taxed accordingly.

Cadet Program
* This full-time, non-sworn position is designed to prepare individuals for a career as a sworn Police Officer. The program offers a unique opportunity to begin a career in law enforcement while receiving both formal and specialized training.
* Cadets hired into the program will be paid to attend the North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Academy. Successful completion of BLET and state certification is required for appointment as a Police Officer. Candidates who do not complete the program may be released from employment.
* When not enrolled in BLET or awaiting certification, Cadets will participate in department-specific training to gain a strong foundation in university policing.

Requirements & Schedule
* Availability: Ability to work beyond scheduled hours when needed. Participation in an on-call schedule, including weekend and holiday rotations, is required to ensure 24/7 patient care.
* Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple hospital departments.
* Experience: Previous experience with large animal handling and veterinary technical procedures is highly preferred.

Temp Project Youth Extension Service Staff Intern

Project YES interns provide youth development programs for children and youth of military families throughout the United States and US territories. Programs may be delivered during Yellow Ribbon events (any phase) and other youth centric activities, i.e. councils, leadership summits, family days, camps, etc. Staff interns are not required to be North Carolina State University students. Interns remain at their home university and will travel to event sites to facilitate Project YES programs. Project YES provides high level education in leadership development, facilitation skills, youth development and age-appropriate curriculum. Project YES interns will also be required to complete a career-enhancing project during the course of the internship. This will be accomplished with the assistance of an individually matched mentor. Together, the mentor and intern will complete a variety of activities designed to better inform and prepare the intern to transition into the work force.
Work Schedule - Interns must attend a mandatory Project YES Intern Orientation (22-30 May 2020) and mid-year training (22-25 October 2020) and commit to supporting a minimum of one YRRP weekend per month (Fri-Sun) for the duration of the internship. Following orientation, interns may work 1-2 weekends a month, however interns must commit to a minimum of one weekend per month (Fri-Sun) for the duration of the internship. Additional opportunities will be presented throughout the year for interns interested in supporting additional weekend events.

Summer Program Activity Instructor:

* Types of Summer Program Instructors include Arts-N-Crafts Instructor, Ecology Instructor, Shooting Sports Instructor, Climbing Wall/High Ropes Instructor, Logistics Coordinator and
Photographer/Social Media.
* Summer Program Activity Instructors will also assist in cabin supervision of children.
Camp Counselor:
* Responsible for the daily care and supervision of up to 10 children, ranging from ages 5 to 17
* Be a mentor and positive role model to your campers
* Foster and maintain positive, developmentally sound relationships between and with campers
* Assist in personal care as needed for your campers - making sure they are showering, changing closes every day, eating and drinking properly, etc.
* Always be attentive
* Assist and/or lead a variety of camp activities. These include, but are not limited to: target sports, ecology, team building, sports and games, rock climbing, crafts, and aquatic activities.
Lifeguards:
* Must currently be certified as a lifeguard by a nationally recognized organization or willing to become certified during summer camp staff training
* Ensure the safety of all campers and staff present by enforcing waterfront and pool area rules and regulations, monitoring activity in and around the swim area
* Give instructions on proper boating procedures and assist in the implementation of the Aquatics Emergency Action Plan, if needed
* Responsible for the supplies and cleanliness of the boat house and pool area.
Health Care Coordinator:
* Will be responsible for the general healthcare of our campers during the summer
* Will be responsible for the organization of medical forms, dispensing medications, providing minor first aid and responding to emergency situations by calling in proper medical technicians if needed.
Logistics Coordinator:
* The Logistics Coordinator is a lead staff member, and must be onsite earlier than all other staff members in order to participate in additional training and assist with the setup of camp
* Responsible for making sure that cold water is available at all outdoor program areas in a timely manner
* Assist in running the High Ropes course, Rock Wall, and Giant Swing (training is provided)
* Communicate effectively with all staff
* Assist with setup and clean up of various camp activities
* Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
Workdays will begin around noon on Sunday of each week and end around noon on Friday. Workdays are subject to fluctuations from time to time. These positions demand a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. You will be with the campers 24/7 for meal times and activities to ensure order, timeliness, and cleanliness throughout the camp week.

* Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point, holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. Exit the water without using a ladder or steps.
