More than a Christian university, North Central University is rooted in
Christ and the teachings of the Bible. While academic offerings span
different disciplines, the Bible is the foundation of everything at North
Central, both in and out of the classroom. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, North Central has a number of
pastoral-oriented majors, including: * Deaf Ministries * Evangelism and Church Planning * Pastoral Studies * Youth Ministries North Central also has a Worship Arts major with an emphasis in such
areas as Music and Theatre. Students may also major in secular academic fields, such as: * Communications * Elementary Education * Psychology * Social Work Whatever a student's major, the emphasis is always, first and foremost,
on the teachings of the Bible. Outside of class, students participate in local churches, mission work
and street ministry. North Central also has church services, religious
conferences, seminars and a youth ministry group. Additional college life activities include theatre and music groups and a
student newspaper and radio station. Required application materials include an application form and a fee,
transcripts, ACT or SAT scores and a pastoral and personal
recommendation. Financial aid is awarded through academic scholarships, which cover
partial tuition and require a minimum grade point average between 2.4 and
3.5, depending on the scholarship. There are also need-based aid awards
such as loans and grants. Those applying for need-based aid must fill out
