Main Job Duties:
Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints/inspection and examine to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Troubleshoot and repair of suspension, drive line, steering components, brake system - air and hydraulic, engine repair and electrical.
Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, change or recharge batteries, and replace transmissions and other parts.
Document all work performed and recommended repair orders.
Conduct road test to ensure vehicle as needed.
Adherence to all company and industry safety standards
Ability to organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency and productivity in all job functions.
Continual training and development in support of individual career and company goals
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational or Technical certification on vehicle repairs
5+ years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks
Training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications
Ability to work with diagnostics computer for troubleshooting and repairs.
Must have your own tool set to perform assigned responsibilities.
Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Registered Nurse First Assistant
Major Responsibilities:
Serves as a surgical first assistant by directly providing technical assistance to the operating surgeon during the surgical procedure to ensure a safe operation with optimal results and within scope of practice guidelines and standards of care.
Uses the nursing process to provide care (assess, plan, intervention, and evaluation). Recognizes and responds to changes in a patient's status and need for care. Determines priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs. Provides triage and consultation to patient, family, and/or significant others according to protocol and organization guidelines.
Performs preoperative functions in collaboration with other health care providers; gathers surgical patient’s comprehensive health history, performs nursing assessments, educates patient and family on procedures, evaluates the needs of patient and of the surgical team throughout the surgical encounter, and reviews chart thoroughly prior to anesthesia induction and identifies potential problems.
Executes intraoperative duties of surgical first assistant; assists anesthesiologist when applicable, assists with patient positioning, skin preparation and draping, uses surgical instruments and medical devices, provides surgical site exposures, handles, mobilize and/or cuts tissue, provides hemostasis, performs suturing and assists with opening, closure and caring of wounds.
Collaborates with other health care providers in postoperative interventions; participates in postoperative rounds, assists in the safe delivery of patient to recovery room, communicates to appropriate health care team and family members, performs follow-up care to evaluate patient’s condition, and participates in patient discharge planning and postoperative education and resources.
Collaborates with the surgeon and other health care team members regarding the patient’s plan or care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Documents and communicates accurate and timely information regarding patient conditions.
Assesses and provides basic to complex patient education and counseling pre/post-operation on the performance of tasks, skills, treatment and self-care integrating health promotion and preventive aspects of care. Follows through with necessary procedure or test requests, prescription refills, new appointment times and referrals to other facilities or services. Refers questions to physician/provider and relays information back to patient as directed.
Assists in the development and implementation of staff orientation, competency and educational activities. Acts as an expert clinical and department resource. May provide work direction to surgical staff or other caregivers and/or assist with patient care flow and the provision of services.
Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), and
Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification issued by the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI).
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 2 years of experience in perioperative care including proficiency in circulating and scrubbing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with a variety of patients, staff and physicians.
Demonstrated ability to effectively make critical, independent decisions. Must be detail oriented and able to maintain composure during high stress situations/circumstances.
Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills including delegation, organization, prioritization and building team rapport.
Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, use of electronic mail and electronic medical records systems.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and potential complication for surgical procedures.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of practices and principles of asepsis.
Demonstrates proper tissue handling technique and maintains tissue integrity.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, and twist various times throughout the workday.
Must lift up to 10 lbs. continuously, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 75 lbs. continuously.
Pushing/pulling required in daily work activities (i.e. moving, lifting, positioning patients and equipment).
Position requires use of foot pedals on carts or machines.
Fine manipulation required when working with surgical equipment.
Must have functional vision, speech, and hearing.
May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards as well as blood and body fluids. Personal protective equipment must be worn as necessary.
Exposed to products containing latex.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
