The Maintenance & Facilities Manager at North Coast will be responsible for managing and leading our team of maintenance personnel to ensure production equipment & facilities are efficiently operating within the seafood manufacturing plant.
The Maintenance & Facilities Manager shall ensure successful preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of equipment to achieve maintenance objectives and assign tasks to the maintenance team personnel and any required outside vendors. They will be expected to train, motivate, monitor and control the maintenance team members, while coordinating with other departmental personnel to achieve intended results. They must be proficient in the use of hand and power tools and the development of other factory mechanics in the performance of their respective duties.
This position reports to Operations Leadership Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Document maintenance processes and procedures and keep it up-to-date
Create and maintain a database of machinery and equipment
Recruit suitable maintenance mechanics, leads, and other support personnel on need basis
Develop a preventive maintenance schedule for all the equipment and decide on the best maintenance frequency
Ensure a safe work environment
Allocating maintenance tasks to team members

Requirements
5+ years with increasingly responsible management positions in industrial maintenance, preferably in a supervisory or production management capacity

The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck interstate reefer, on both city and highway routes, to deliver our seafood product to customers. They also assist with product delivery pick-up from the airport and will help transport product between company locations. The Class A CDL Driver is expected to complete all routes safely and in-accordance with Department of Transportation regulation and North Coast company policy.

Shipper - Receiver

The Shipper / Receiver is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all products that are received and/or shipped out of a specific location during the assigned shift. During their shift, Shipper/ Receivers work together in three main functions of the department: receiving, inventory control and cooler operations and shipping. They will work to company guidelines with respect to quality control, safety, and standard operating procedures to execute an accurate and on-time shipping function under the direction of shipping operations leadership.
This position reports to the Shipping & Receiving Manager in charge of a given shift (AM, MID, PM) in Boston.
* Assist with the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product
* Obtain and process product orders

The Production Maintenance Mechanic at North Coast works under the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Manager to inspect, maintain, and repair procession equipment and machinery located in our seafood manufacturing plants. They are proficient in the use of hand and power tools and assist other factory mechanics in the performance of their respective duties.
This position reports to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Troubleshoots machinery
· Performs preventative maintenance
· Replace parts of machines as needed
· Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications
· Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety
· Performs conveyor belt maintenance and repair
· Performs electrical work such as electric motor replacement, basic industrial wiring & troubleshooting
· Performs mechanical work to include bearing replacement, gearing, sprockets and roller chains, belts
Requirements
· 3+ years of previous experience in industrial maintenance/line mechanics
· Experience with packaging and/or bagging equipment preferred

Sanitation Supervisor PM

Job Description
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the sanitation department, overseeing the cleaning and disinfecting of production and shipping areas within our seafood processing facility. They will supervise all sanitation personnel, ensure proper sanitation of all equipment, plant, and grounds, and ensuring all required paperwork gets properly completed on time.
The Sanitation Supervisor will lead their respective teams in the Environmental Monitoring program, working with Quality Assurance, Production, and Maintenance to ensure a healthy plant environment.
The Sanitation Supervisor will spend most of their time on the floor as they lead, train and monitor a team of workers. Significant strength is required for many cleaning operations, as the team uses high-pressure hoses (e.g. 250 psi is common), lifts heavy containers of chemicals, and empties trash receptacles around production.
The Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for the management of chemicals and sanitizers. They will be required to train their teams to work efficiently and effectively to ensure food safety and workspace cleanliness. This enables us to produce top-quality seafood products, at high volume, to customers all over the country.
This is a PM position that reports to our Quality Control Supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment
Interview, hire and train all new team members
Helps conduct sanitation and safety training sessions as needed or required
Ensure all hourly employees are assessed and receive appropriate development plans and mentoring
Provide leadership and resolve employee problems, complaints and grievances
Provide support and on-the-floor training to employees to achieve goals
Schedule, manage and track labor in real-time through ADP
Monitor and control expenses pertaining to labor and overtime hours
Drive an environment of teamwork and open communication
Accountable for project completion and achievement of such goals
Manage an environment that drives performance while maintaining a safe workplace
Direct and coordinate sanitation activities to meet and exceed the internal and external customer/regulatory expectations
Review and complete all of the department documentation (Daily Sanitation Log Audit, Master Sanitation Program, Training, Timekeeping, Performance Reviews)
Performs other tasks/projects as assigned by the Quality Control Department
Requirements
3+ years with increasingly responsible management positions in the food processing industry, preferably in a supervisory capacity
3+ years with experience in sanitation department, preferably in a supervisory capacity
1+ years with experience working overnight shift
Food industry background preferred; Seafood industry experience is a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers, supervisors, or employees of company
Ability to work through the night
