Under the supervision of the Youth Development Program Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Youth Development Department with program, intake and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsible for completing documents and reports and submitting them within deadlines, proof reading, scheduling, file management, quality assurance, data entry, maintenance, intake, and program specific projects. Must be a multi-tasker with consistent attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Candidate responsible for onboarding and training of new staff and for quality assurance, including understanding and monitoring the completion of program objectives, and troubleshooting issues regarding data, flex fund spending, contract audit requirements, etc. and for notifying supervisors of potential problems. Specific Activities
Duties include but are not limited to:
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all YD programs, contracts and grants, and tracks reports, due dates and ending dates.
Assists with quality assurance and with Desk Reviews and program audits, both internal and external, and provides ongoing feedback and troubleshooting, keeping Managers and Director updated.
Completes and submits monthly and quarterly reports, claims and other contract-related data to Program Manager/Director and contractors/funders on time and accurately.
Coordinate all referrals, intakes, and assessments for the various YD programs
Assist in tracking all clients through the intake and assessment process
Assist in maintaining all logging and back-up data for statistical reports
Maintain communication regarding status and progress of referrals with all referring parties in a timely manner
Develop and implement strength-based individual and family case plans
Advocate, mentor and role-model skills for families such as discipline, communication and general life skills
Provide family focused psycho-education utilizing evidenced based strategies and a trauma informed approach
Provide crisis intervention as needed
Follow all legal and ethical guidelines pertaining to the treatment of youth and families as per the state and county requirements (e.g., Child Abuse reporting, Duty to Warn, Confidentiality, Grievance Procedures, Serious Incidents and Elder Abuse).
Supports department Program Manager and Director in hiring processes as needed including reviewing applications, conducting phone screenings, reference checks, etc.
Support department programs, as needed with onboarding items
Assist with IT needs
Conducts purchasing and maintains copies of requests of program items, WRAP requirements, training and conference registrations, flights, hotels, etc.
• Works with support staff throughout the entire agency to support smooth running of program activities and agency needs.
Enters client and programmatic information into program-specific databases and reviews and edits existing data files as appropriate.
Develops various manuals and conducts research and statistical analyses as requested by Director.
Generates monthly financial reports for program and serves as liaison between Fiscal Department and Program Manager/Director regarding fiscal updates. Fill in for other YD programs as needed
Develops and implements administrative policies and procedures and follows up with program staff to ensure compliance.
Maintain written records of any communication from the COR regarding pre-approval of specific items.
Participate in case supervision and program evaluation
Assist and coordinate fieldtrips and outings
Collaborate and maintain professional relationships with Juvenile Court, Juvenile Probation and Law Enforcement entities and other referring parties, to include receiving referrals and providing progress reports
Assist with Case Management as needed by providing culturally competent assessments, phone intakes, check-ins for youth and their families, identifying family needs, providing crisis intervention and stabilization supports.
Participate in all required meetings and trainings
Attend agency, collaboration, and community meetings as needed
Assist with reception coverage on a weekly basis
Provide administrative duties and meet all contract requirements
Knowledge of and respect for diverse cultures
Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Accurate spelling, grammatical usage and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of MS Word, including strong formatting skills. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and other current software as necessary. This position requires strong time management skills, exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and flexibility. Must have superior proofreading and editing abilities. Must be able to work accurately in a timely manner with little or no supervision. Able to prioritize tasks. Ability to work well with others. Must have neat appearance and dress appropriately for an office environment. Must have a pleasant voice and manner. Ability and interest to increase responsibilities and achieve professional growth. Position Overview
The Club Crown Heights (CCH) Program Aide works under the supervision of the Youth Development Program Manager with support from the CCH Program Coordinator. Provide assistance to the CCH Program Coordinator, supervise activities for youth participants, implement program curriculum, and work with subcontractors, school staff, parents, and community representatives. The Program Aide establishes a safe after-school program that provides academics, skills development, education, work readiness, STEM Labs, recreation, and field trips.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing the CCH programs under the guidance of the Program Manager and Site Coordinator.
Meets the program performance outcomes as outlined in contract with City of Oceanside and other funding sources.
Attends meetings and training seminars as required.
Under the guidance of the Program Manager and Site Coordinator, helps to develop program curriculum and schedule activities, including STEM activities, tutoring, educational field trips, community events, and others as needed.
Plans program activities, completing program calendar in advance, keeping it up to date and making it available to parents, staff and youth.
Assists other Youth Development Programs with referrals and enrollment.
Assist and participate in agency activities as needed.
Facilitates the day-to-day planning, supervision and implementation of the program and provides age appropriate activities and events for youth.
Arranges sport, recreational and enrichment activities on a daily basis.
Coordinates program activities in alignment with the monthly schedule.
Maximizes safety of the environment and activities for participants and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the performance and activities of all staff and program services. This includes providing regular supervision to program staff and assistance with crisis-related issues; facilitate open communication and regular team meetings.
Responsible for the overall management of Dream Centers located at high-need secondary schools to serve as inclusive, safe spaces on campuses for students to study, build peer support and become leaders.
Be responsible for planning, implementation and evaluation and expansion efforts of the Dream Center services. Services provided will include youth leadership development, youth life skills development, counseling and/or case management, peer meditation, events and convening, and training for students and staff.
Responsible for analyzing, collecting, and monitoring data on a recurring basis.

Lifeline Community Services is hiring a Clinician (Human Trafficking Prevention Specialist) to support our growing team. You will be responsible for the following: providing human trafficking prevention education (groups and workshops) to high risk youth; clinical services to youth and young adults that have experienced human trafficking; and facilitate prevention education and support to parents of high risk youth and those that have experienced victimization. L.A. Metro Peer Counselor
The Homeless and Housing department at HYC is seeking a Metro Peer Counselor to join our team.
The Metro Peer Counselor is part of the Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) Street Based Engagement multi-disciplinary team at HYC.
This team is responsible for providing services to people experiencing homelessness on the Metro Rail Stations and/or Bus Routes.
The Metro Peer Counselor will have the primary responsibility of using their lived experience and knowledge to provide outreach and engagement, support advocacy, and direct services to clients.
The Peer Counselor will travel with the HYC Metro team to a variety of settings including but not limited to transit stops on the bus and rail line stops/stations, homeless encampments, shelters, drop-in centers, and other areas designated by the Los Angeles Department of Health Services (DHS).
The role involves offering emotional support, sharing experiences of personal recovery, and facilitating access to community resources.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide peer support to people experiencing homelessness that are encountered on the Metro Blue line
Provide outreach, counseling, and case management services to people experiencing homelessness
Conduct intakes, assessments, enroll individuals in LA HMIS, and document according to the timeframe provided in the contract and according to HYC policies
Meet with enrolled clients on a regular basis to review, evaluate, and support both long- and short-term goals established
Assist clients with establishing mainstream benefits and gathering necessary vital documents such as birth certificates, IDs, or social security cards
Work with local law enforcement officers and interim service providers to ensure a smooth transition to interim housing
Participate in case conferencing, internal and external meetings, trainings, and other functions as directed by Program Manager and DHS
Assist with applications for supportive and subsidized housing and build relationships with prospective landlords
Facilitate connections with community-based organizations and agencies to provide comprehensive services to clients
Perform follow-ups and wellness checks on existing clients assigned
Maintain and execute confidential information in accordance with HIPAA standards

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Housing Navigator is responsible for providing services to families and individuals in need of housing and services through a client driven wellness and recovery model that is strength based, culturally relevant, trauma informed, consumer driven, and outcome based. These services may include client advocacy, case management, benefit establishment, linkage to mental health and substance abuse services, linkage to stable housing and all other supportive services as needed. Housing Navigator will provide individualized client support by helping each client develop a plan to address their barriers, increase their income, and maintain and sustain permanent housing. The Housing Navigator will also work with local property managers, property owners and owners to find new partnership opportunities for survivors who have housing vouchers or income to sustain rent in their own apartment. May participate in law enforcement operations and 24-hour "on-call" emergency calls placed by the San Diego Human Trafficking Task force and other local law enforcement agencies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work or related field with minimum of two years providing case management, supportive services and/or housing specific services required; Master's degree in behavioral health with BBS registration (ASW, AMF, APCC) preferred.
Multi-lingual or Bi-lingual strongly preferred, with strong preference given to English/Spanish.
Responsibilities
Assist client in locating, securing and maintaining long-term/permanent housing.
Assist clients in developing knowledge on requirements to secure housing.
Assist clients in understanding the language in leases and their rights and responsibilities.
Aid in lease negotiations with landlords.
Create SMART goals with client to help them meet the necessary requirements to secure housing.
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with property owners, community partners, housing programs, shelters, apartment managers, etc.
Gather, compile, and maintain current housing market data, housing resources and opportunities to provide information to clients seeking housing.

M- F, 8 hours a day (9-5:30pm; includes minimum one evening per week and may include some weekends)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Community Engagement Specialist (CES) will develop and implement community engagement strategies to strengthen family and community connections. This position is responsible for cultivating and empowering family leadership, building and sustaining relationships between families and their communities, and working to remove barriers while creating bridges that foster community success. The CES will facilitate parent and family workgroups at the Community Family Resource Center (CFRC) to engage and empower caregivers as active participants and critical thinkers. In addition, the CES will collaborate effectively with co-workers, partners, and community stakeholders by sharing ideas constructively, considering input from others, following through on commitments, and maintaining respectful communication.
Under the direct supervision of the CFRC Program Manager, the Community Engagement Specialist will:
Develop and implement community engagement strategies, cultivate and empower family leadership, provide support to build and strengthen relationships between families and communities.
Facilitate parent and family workgroups at the Community Family Resource Center (CFRC) to engage and empower caregivers as active participants and critical thinkers.
Plan and execute large in-person community outreach and engagement events.
Coordinate ongoing and single in-person educational and enrichment activities to promote overall well-being, this may include events, classes, training, workshops, etc.)
Conduct a community needs analysis using tools such as community mapping (e.g., ARDI Equity Map), publicly available reports, and interviews with community members.

Collaborate with community leaders to identify emerging needs and new resources to ensure equitable access to services and support.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
