Annual Base Salary:
GS-5 and GS-7: $40,332 - $109,952 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay annually.
This is a career ladder position with promotion potential up to GS-12. You will be eligible for promotion to the next higher grade after 52 weeks at each level, subject to agency discretion.
CBPOs receive comprehensive federal benefits including health, dental, vision, sick and annual leave, and retirement plans including a Thrift Savings Plan (similar to a Roth 401(k)).
Recruitment Incentives: For eligible locations, you may receive an additional 10-25% of salary for the first 3-4 years depending on the location. These incentives apply to new federal employees and are subject to funding.

Experience: Three years of full-time general work experience demonstrating ability to interact with the public and apply information.
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Combination: A combination of general work experience and college education.
GS-7: One of the following:
Experience: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level including inspections, law enforcement, and regulatory compliance.
Education: A bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement (3.0+ GPA or honor society membership), or one year of graduate-level education.

Summary:
This position will repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and performance of work associated with the operation and maintenance of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The Floor Hand position is part of a 4-5-person workover rig crew on a well service rig, who are responsible for performing services on oil and gas wells requested by the customers of Axis Energy Services. The primary responsibilities of a Floor Hand include but are not limited to assisting in rigging up and rigging down, pulling, and laying down rods, tubing and casing, and other functions specified by the Rig Supervisor or other designated individual. All duties are performed in a specified fashion to maximize the safety of the entire crew while meeting customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
The Floor Hand reports to their assigned Work-over Rig Supervisor.
Assists the operator in rigging up and down, lining up the well service rig with the well.
Sets hydraulic jacks, handles pads/boards, and assists in attaching the guy wires to the anchor.
Operates rod wrenches, tongs, elevators and other associated rig tools and equipment during well servicing operations.
Assists in picking up or laying down tubing, manually lifting the tubing from the rack onto the
work floor or vice versa.
Maintains tubing, rod tongs and hand tools on the rig.
Dismantles and repairs oil field machinery using hand tools and power tools.
Cleans up spills.
Keeps pipe deck and main deck areas orderly.
Reports any safety hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues to the Rig Supervisor.
Ensures that work carried out follows company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs.

Responsibilities
System Analysis and Strategy
Assess the performance of our electrical distribution infrastructure.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring:
A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Proven experience in the electrical utility industry.
Strong expertise in advanced mathematics, including trigonometry, calculus, algebra, and analytic geometry.
Familiarity with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories equipment or similar systems (preferred).
Understanding of NERC and FERC regulations, with experience in SPP considered an asset.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Hobbs, NM
Under the direction of the Animal Adoption Center Manager is responsible for the welfare and health of all animals inside the facility is in good standing. * Assists in administration of pre-sedation medication to animals for surgical purposes, intubate animals for surgery, move animals from one table to another, observe and interact as necessary during surgical procedures assist the attending Veterinarian, and make sure all surgical requirements are met according to Daily Operating Procedures, DEA, NM Pharmacy Board, and NM Board of Veterinary Medicine.
* Should also possess knowledge of administration of vaccinations to animals specific to dogs and cats, administration of Micro chipping in dogs and cats, the administration of narcotics, ensuring proper procedures are followed in the safe handling of narcotics, ensure proper surgical recovery procedures are followed and administered.
* Possess the ability, or be able to obtain knowledge, of proper cleaning requirements of surgical suite, medical instruments associated with spay and neuter surgeries, and safe and sanitary operation of autoclave (or comparable machinery).
* Ability to learn or currently possess data collection knowledge thru such software programs as Microsoft Excel, Word, or Animals First for the compliance of City of Hobbs Ordinances.
* Ability to learn or currently possess knowledge of proper kenneling requirements as delineated thru NM Board of Veterinary Medicine and HAAC daily operating procedures.
* Generates and edits correspondences, reports, letters, and memorandums as requested.
* Serves as a cashier including receipting of adoptions, reclaims, rabies, sterilization fees and various other payments, preparing re-cap sheet of monies to be deposited.
* Subject to weekend rotations when needed and at the discretion of the Animal Adoption Center Manager.
* Ability to assist the public via appointment, phone, or in person regarding services provided at the Animal Adoption Center.
* Ability to perform all duties of the Animal Adoption Center Manager during their absence.
* As well as the duties of the Animal Shelter Attendant, as needed and on weekend rotations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Graduation from high school or high school equivalency required.
* Six (6) months of experience in care or handling of domestic animals or related work required.
* Certification for Veterinarian Assistant from accredited trade school or Associates of Science degree preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
* Skill in handling of a snare, asp, and an animal control stick in order to capture, disable and/or restrain animals.
* Knowledge proper requirement of vaccination administration of cats and dogs
* Ability to undergo a series of prophylaxis vaccinations.
* Ability to perform euthanasia and become proficient with euthanasia equipment within first 12 months of employment.
* Ability to objectively evaluate animals for adoption based on their health and temperament.
* Ability to work with aggressive, vicious and/or biting animals.
* Ability to become familiar with City and State Proper handing and kenneling requirements and laws.
* Ability to communicate effectively and deal with complaining citizens, who are often frustrated, angry, or irate.
* Ability to work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
* Ability to use personal computer based software.
* Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
* Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.

The Western Heritage Museum Educator shall report to the Executive Director of Western Heritage Museum & Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame .
