ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist mentees in using the Bristol Mobile App to access information and services.
* Document student interactions on a regular basis in accordance with the reporting process outlined by College Access staff.
* Maintain an understanding of Bristol resources and offices on campus in order to make appropriate referrals to these services.
* Assist in organizing mentoring networking events and other student success workshops as needed; attend events and workshops as requested.
* Meet bi-weekly with an Academic Coordinator to discuss topics such as: outreach documentation, mentoring strategies, mentee questions/concerns/challenges, and updates on Bristol resources.
* Keep all information on students confidential; adhere to FERPA.
* Attend all training sessions and meetings.
* Submit electronic timesheet in Self Service Time & Attendance (SSTA) weekly, or paper timesheet, if required for payroll purposes.
* Focus on customer service best practices when working with Bristol community members, including faculty, staff, and students.
* Focus on the Commonwealth's Equity Agenda by applying related best practices throughout all job functions.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all required qualifications must be met by date of hire.
* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to explain concepts to others clearly.
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
* The ability to work effectively with a diverse student body, faculty, and staff.
* Must have reliable transportation to and from the Fall River campus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Currently enrolled Bristol Community College student or a Bristol Community College Alumni
* Have completed at least one semester at Bristol.
* Have completed the online New Student Orientation.
* Demonstrated familiarity with Bristol resources available to students.
* Experience working with college students and/or the communities we serve.
* Ability to communicate in a language in addition to English.

Project Weber/RENEW (PWR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide culturally competent, appropriate, and sensitive harm reduction and recovery services to high risk people, both during street outreach and at the nation's first drop-in center for male, female, and transgender sex workers.
PWR is seeking a part time maintenance staff person to help enter and maintain PWR owned properties. PWR is undergoing programmatic, opperational and financial growth: this position will help support the organization as it grows.
Essential Job Functions
Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
Diagnosing/repairing faulty equipment, damaged structures.
Implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
Planning and scheduling repairs, coordinating with outside vendors to perform repairs
Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
Maintaining the inventory of equipment and facilities supplies.
Ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with safety regulations
Responding to emergency maintenance requests and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous maintenance experience/building trades experience, understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques, effective problem solving abilities, should be comfortable using a computer for email and web browsing, good communication skills, should have their own basic tools, reliable transportation, must be able to work independently, must have the ability to prioritize tasks, physically able to climb a ladder, lift up to 50lbs independently. Responsible for the receipt and processing of specimens. Enters patient demographic and testing information into the laboratory information system. Examines specimens for adequacy. Labels specimens and prepares aliquots. Delivers specimens to proper laboratory departments for analysis. Assists with other data entry and clerical functions as assigned.

Requires an ability to focus and an attention to accuracy and detail; must display interpersonal, and diplomacy skills and work well as part of a team; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and see tasks through to completion.
