    Case Manager - Substance Use Treatment Department: Goldman Clinic Methadone Maintenance Program Job Type: Full Time | Onsite Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Starting Pay: $23.00 per hour Overview The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is seeking a Case Manager to join our Goldman Clinic Methadone Maintenance Program. This role provides case management and chart management support to clients enrolled in substance use treatment, with a strong focus on community resource coordination, benefits management, and continuity of care. As a long-standing provider of behavioral health and substance use services in Philadelphia, we deliver evidence based, trauma informed care and work closely with public insurance systems and community partners to support long term recovery and treatment engagement. Position Summary Under the direction of the Goldman Clinic leadership team, the Case Manager works within a multidisciplinary methadone treatment setting to assess client needs, develop service plans, coordinate care, and connect clients to critical resources such as housing, healthcare, transportation, benefits, and employment services. This position plays a key role in client retention, regulatory compliance, and quality of care. Key Responsibilities • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and develop comprehensive service plans • Coordinate access to treatment services and monitor client progress • Assist clients with Social Security and Department of Welfare documentation • Compile and maintain up to date community resource and referral files • Connect clients to housing, transportation, healthcare, employment, education, and legal resources • Monitor and facilitate documentation requests for transfers in and out of the methadone program • Obtain and track IOP authorizations and verify insurance coverage • Work with funding sources to secure benefits and authorizations • Identify clients at risk of disengagement and conduct outreach to re-engage them in treatment • Facilitate at least one weekly group focused on orientation, relapse prevention, or treatment engagement • Maintain accurate documentation and charts in the Electronic Health Record • Collaborate closely with counselors, nurses, and clinical leadership • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards Qualifications Education and Experience • Associate degree or higher in Human Services, Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field required • Experience in substance use treatment, methadone programs, or behavioral health strongly preferred • Knowledge of community resources and public insurance systems required • Experience in human services or case management highly valued Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Working knowledge of substance use disorders, psychiatric disabilities, and recovery approaches • Strong documentation, organization, and chart management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high stress situations • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and computer-based documentation • Bilingual English and Spanish a plus • Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred Work Environment • Onsite clinical setting with frequent client interaction • Fast paced environment requiring strong time management and prioritization • May involve working with clients in crisis or high stress situations • Physical activity including standing, walking, and light lifting may be required Why Join BeWell • Stable weekday schedule with early hours • Competitive hourly pay with growth potential • Full benefits package for full time employees • High impact role supporting individuals in recovery • Mission driven organization serving the Philadelphia community Equal Opportunity Employer The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE M F D V). The Goldman Clinic provides comprehensive outpatient, intensive outpatient (CAP IOP), and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, including methadone, Suboxone, and Vivitrol.     Addiction Recovery Assistant (ARA) Behavioral Health / Addiction Recovery Department: Behavioral Health Job Type: Part Time Per Diem Schedule: Varies. Must be available for assigned shifts as needed Starting Pay: $19.13 per hour Bilingual Requirement: English and Spanish REQUIRED Overview The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is a trusted provider of behavioral health and addiction recovery services in Philadelphia. We deliver evidence based culturally and spiritually responsive care through inpatient and outpatient programs helping individuals achieve long term wellness and recovery. We are seeking dependable committed and compassionate bilingual Addiction Recovery Assistants to join our Behavioral Health team. Applicants must be fluent in English and Spanish to support communication with clients and staff. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting clients in recovery maintaining structure on the unit and creating a safe therapeutic environment where clients can progress toward stability and sobriety. Important: All new hires must be able to attend a mandatory 5-day orientation Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM before starting their schedule. Attendance is required for employment. Responsibilities • Provide direct care daily engagement and support to clients in the Residential Recovery Program • Observe document and report client behaviors using paper and electronic charting • Complete vital signs accu checks and other clinical tasks as assigned • Conduct admission searches room checks and personal effects inventories • Monitor urine collections and inspect packages brought onto the unit • Participate in and assist with group activities and community engagement • Escort clients to medical legal and recreational appointments • Assist with serving meals and maintaining overall unit order • Provide comprehensive shift reports and update required communication logs • Support clients with redirection and de escalation techniques when needed • Maintain cleanliness and ensure the unit environment meets safety expectations • Attend required meetings and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required • Working knowledge of 12 Step Recovery Programs • Twelve college credits in Behavioral Health or Human Services preferred • First Aid and CPR certification required within 30 days of hire • Lived experience in recovery preferred • Experience taking vital signs is a plus • Bilingual English and Spanish REQUIRED for this position • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and staff in both languages Work Environment This role requires frequent standing walking bending lifting and direct client interaction. ARAs work in client areas and may encounter individuals who are agitated or disoriented. Outdoor escorts and travel may be required. Knowledge of infection control hospital safety and de-escalation practices is essential.
