    This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with personal lines clients in conjunction with the producing risk advisor. Personal lines account often include coverages such as homeowners, auto, personal umbrella, boat, and recreational vehicle insurance. Senior account managers work independently to advise and service complex accounts. North Risk's team is values-driven with a common mission of service to our clients, each other, and our community. *This position can be based in our Plymouth, MN location or our Mendota Heights, MN location PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESLeader: Work closely with other department leaders across the company to determine standards for service team. Execute alignment and communication for company strategy, goals, training, and ongoing education for team members. Work closely with account managers to carry out efficient processes and procedures to ensure excellent service to North Risk Partners clients. Assist in employee development, including mentorship, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary action as needed. Work with Employee Relations department to execute employee onboarding and training. Provide industry updates, advancements, and trends for team members to stay abreast and keep knowledge current. Administrative duties including: Approve timesheets and PTO requests, Approve monthly expense reports, Work with the Employee Relations department on employee onboarding, compliance, paperwork, etc., and Participate in hiring process by interviewing candidate. Account Manager: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through advising and responding to all correspondence in a quick and accurate manner. Includes answering questions regarding all lines of coverage, and assisting with plan and/or carrier changes, claims, and billing. Collaborate with risk advisor to determine and meet client goals. Exercise independent judgement and discretion to meet client needs by: communicate and educate clients on policy changes as needed, evaluate and process client requests for to ensure appropriate coverage is met, and resolve inquiries on service problems, billing and claims to ensure client satisfaction. Schedule and participate in client meetings as necessary. Study trends and advancements in the insurance and finance industries, as well as changes to the regulatory climate to keep knowledge current and plan strategically. Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with partner insurance carriers. Enter activity and other relevant information into the company's software system(s) in accordance with company procedures. Follow all federal and state regulations, and best practices for avoiding errors and omissions. Mentor new employees by guiding them on North Risk Partners' service methods and mission. Attend and actively participate in agency service training meetings. Continue professional development; pursue and maintain professional designations if applicable. Travel as necessary for company or training events. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment is primarily indoors. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
