Experience: Previous teaching experience, preferably in a high school or alternative education setting. Experience working with at-risk youth or in a dropout recovery program is highly desirable. Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of high school math curriculum and instructional strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
