Requirements
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and Illinois state license in good standing
Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including ADLs, daily routines, play, and feeding
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly; lift up to 45 lbs
Adequate vision and hearing for written and verbal communication
Comfort working in an environment with moderate noise levels
Your role as an OccupationalTherapist
As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will:
Design and administer treatment programs to increase independence in ADLs, routines, play, and feeding
Make cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed
Address executive functioning, attention, and fine/gross motor coordination
Create home programs and coach families to implement them
Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric specialists for coordinated care
Maintain detailed progress notes and adjust treatment plans as needed

3. Maintains appropriate clinical records, clinical notes, and reports to the branch's Director of Nursing any changes in the patient's condition.
4. Submits clinical documentation in accordance with company policy.
5. Follows treatment program and goals for improved patient function as established by the Plan of Care. Documents patient's response to treatment plan and progress toward established goals.
6. Maintains contact/communication with other personnel involved in the patient's care to promote coordinated, efficient care. Documents such communication in accordance with company policy.
