The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The Operations Lead performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution, and operational readiness, providing troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.
The OL coordinates directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with Company timekeeping policies, meeting labor model standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.
The OL participates in Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly zone workload and assigning tasks to deliver on store, department, sales goals, guest engagement, etc., and ensures all tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
The Operations Lead supports the store team in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience so the store will operate effectively and profitably.
The OL Drives productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
The Operations Lead leverages daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics that support the customer experience.
The operations Lead participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions The OL processes freight, and stocks, including down stocking and end cap maintenance, while maintaining a neat, clean, organized store.
All other duties are based on business needs.

Job Description:
Working with the production and planning teams, while overseeing the department, which operates across two shifts this position will:
Lead the team of employees including, but not limited to, the Saw, Manual Mill, CNC Lathe and CNC Mill Operators
Manage employee performance including ensuring accuracy, standard of performance for both quality and quantity / output of work
Utilize the ERP system to schedule and assign work orders based on priority, machine capacity, and machinist ability
Train employees working on various shifts. This includes the operation, programming, materials, tooling, quality, process improvements and safety initiatives
Program using Mastercam for SolidWorks
Evaluate department needs and ensure machines are operating efficiently
Assist Machinists with technical questions and give direction
Communicate company information, hold people accountable to company expectations, assist in supporting positive company culture
Communicate any issues that need addressed to management
Assists with performance reviews for staff
Move product and equipment as needed
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
5-7 years of Machining experience. Preferably CNC Vertical milling and CNC Lathe experience. Job shop environment
2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
2-year technical degree required in machining
Experience working with large machines and parts preferred.
Excellent people skills.
Experience in quality management systems
Experience with implementing or working in a Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel & Word primarily

Compensation:
The annual base salary range for Non-Technical Degrees is between $67,000 and $70,000
The annual base salary range for Technical Degrees is between $76,000 and $82,500

Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, throughput, and first-pass yield through continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, standard work, and waste reduction.
Train, coach, and develop team members in assembly techniques, equipment usage, quality expectations, and safety procedures; conduct performance evaluations and address personnel issues as needed.
Monitor production metrics including yields, cycle times, and labor efficiency; provide daily and weekly reports to management.

Oversee proper operation of manufacturing equipment, schedule preventive maintenance, and arrange repairs when necessary.
Qualifications
3-5 years of supervisory experience in electronic assembly, PCB manufacturing, or related production environment.
Strong knowledge of IPC standards, SMT and/or through-hole assembly practices, and ESD handling.
Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
