Position Summary

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment
Administer medications, as directed by healthcare professionals
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
Requirements:
40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA 75 hour certificate, CNA license (Required)
Must have a current CPR certification (Required)
Level 2 Background check and Fingerprinting (Required)
Valid Driver's License, reliable personal vehicle, car insurance (Required)
Recent Negative TB Screening Results or Chest X-Ray (Required)
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
Excellent communication, required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation purposes

COMMUNITY ASSISTANT
The Community Assistant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of a property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Property Leasing and Administration
Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour community, and sign a lease.
Conducts all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and all necessary follow-up needed.
Completes all leasing paperwork needed prior to move-in
Assisting with lease audits, walking units, and turn process.
Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to prospect leads within 24 hours.
Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and work to achieve and exceed leasing goals.
Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction
Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (i.e., resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletter, etc.)
Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model.
Marketing & Outreach
Assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach
Review and assist in completing market surveys/analysis on a continual basis to generate ideas and formulate plans.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition as well as market conditions; complete weekly market survey report.
Customer & Resident Relations
Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
Enforce policies of the community that immediate supervisor delegates
Education/experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Areas of Responsibility

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, medicinal reminders, and incontinence care.
Keep proper records of care including a resident service plan and documenting services provided.
Be familiar with resident service plan and document all service provided.
Work closely and maintain daily communications with the Resident Services associates so that a continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents.
Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
Support the programming and operations of the neighborhood.

Required Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year related health care experience required.
In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training.

Preferred Qualifications
Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment
Administer medications, as directed by healthcare professionals
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
Requirements:
Valid HHA or CNA certification - (40 hrs)
Must have current CPR certification. We accept Red Cross or American Heart ONLY (BLS PROVIDER COURSE)
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
Excellent communication, must speak English
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Reliable transportation
Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation purposes
