Under the direction of the Program Director and the Safety Director of the Hyperbaric Medicine Department, the Hyperbaric Technician administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician. Operates and maintains the hyperbaric chamber(s) and associated systems and equipment. Assist in the delivery of patient care, to include processing medical documentation, appropriate to the level of his/her medical training and license/certificate
**Education:** High School diploma or GED, and approved & accredit HBO Tech course
**Experience:** At least 1 year of patient care experience in Hospital or Wound Care & HBO Dept.
**Licenses/Certifications:** Must be certified and/or licensed in one or more of the following vocations: Respiratory Therapist, Diver Medic, Corpsman (military), Medical service Specialist, EMT, Paramedic, RN, LPN, or LVN, CNA, Medical Assistant, Chamber Technician/Operator(military), Current Diving Medical Tech (DMT), or Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT), and BLS active certification.
**Min requirement is; CNA or EMT must have their Hyperbaric Certification of Compete
