Responsibilities: The Lead Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assisting the Vent Manager/ District Manager in the efficient management of respiratory services in his/her assigned account(s). This position also assists in integration of respiratory care services in all settings. The Lead Respiratory Therapist supports the delivery of the highest standards and quality of respiratory services. 1. Is the back-up for the Vent Manager/ District Manager in his/her absence. 2. Provides direct patient care. 3. Assists respiratory staff in identifying and removing barriers to treatment and providing clinical education to meet the needs of the patient. 4. Assists in the efficient and profitable management of respiratory services in sites of service and all assigned contracts. 5. Assists in operationally managing Genesis Respiratory Services and agency personnel within the facility. 6. Provides direct clinical support daily. Assists respiratory therapy staff with assignments as needed. Initiates and maintains communications and collaboration with all care team members. Participates in multidisciplinary rounds as required by the Program/DM Manager. Communicate care plan interventions with staff. 7. Assist with new hire orientation and training. 8. Assists the VPM/DM in meeting budget through revenue enhancement and control of expenses 9. Identify opportunities for business growth and provide clinical leadership for the advancement of professional respiratory practices with staff in collaboration with VPM/DM and Clinical manager. 10. Assists in preparation of facility/Territory reports on a weekly and monthly basis. 11. Supports the delivery of the highest standard of respiratory services through appropriate utilization of resources, the promotion of clinical programs, and staff development in collaboration with licensed therapists, VPM/DM, Senior District Manager and Clinical Manager. 12. Assists VPM/DM with customer service. 13. Assists with the clinical management of the respiratory department, including oversight related to case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization, and patient identification is overseen by a licensed therapist 14. Assists VPM/DM in ensuring practice act compliance. 15. Attends facility meetings as requested by VPM/DM and is responsible for information sharing at facility meetings. 16. Ensures that staff participates in orientation and training programs including but not limited to all required compliance courses and relevant policies and procedures, and that such training is properly documented. Participates in compliance and other required training programs. 17. Assists VPM/DM to ensure respiratory care is delivered in a professional and timely manner according to policy and procedures including rotating on call as needed. 18. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications: 1. The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice. 2. The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor must have three years direct patient care experience, and either one year of management experience in a respiratory setting or has functioned successfully as a point person under the supervision of a VPM/DM for a period of one year. 3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 4. A thorough knowledge of Respiratory Therapy procedures is required. Posted Salary Range: USD $36.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.

Participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures of bag ventilation and closed chest massage.Initiates, monitors and documents performance of various respiratory care modalities.Performs assessment of residents' cardiopulmonary status utilizing physical assessment and history taking skills, laboratory findings, radiological studies of the chest, pulmonary function testing and professional judgment to formulate a respiratory care plan upon the order of a physician.Performs various tasks prior to treating a resident as follows: Check physician's orders for completeness. Orders to include: diagnosis, ICD -10 code, type and duration of therapy, type and dosage of medication, FI02 and frequency. Check resident's chart for history, physical and for pertinent information to determine precautions to be observed at bedside. Observe and chart: pulse, respiration, breath sounds (number and quality), and resident's general appearance, including breathing exercises and teaching and training to residents. Notify supervisor of all new starts and discontinued residents.Administers proper technical respiratory care procedures. Dispenses proper dosage of medication, acquires and adjusts devices to insure optimal results from therapy. This includes mask, mouthpiece, or Trach equipment for resident's comfort and ease of operation, regulates flow and pressure of equipment. Observes resident's respiratory rate and pattern, pulse, breath sounds, reaction to medication, any difficulty with therapy during and after treatment. Chart and communicate to the resident's nurse any pertinent information. Observe thorough and accurate charting technique.Inspects and tests equipment, disassembles, cleans, reassembles equipment as required. Maintains adequate supply of necessary equipment. Performs administrative duties and record keeping when required. Disposes of equipment properly.Assists in emergency cardio-pulmonary resuscitation as an integral part of the emergency team. Therapist is required to be CPR certified.8. Initiates, administers, evaluates response to, and documents all therapy modalities according to departmental procedure and ordered by a physician including: intermittent positive pressure breathing, hand held nebulizer, chest physical therapy modalities, including percussion, vibration, breathing and cough retraining exercises, deep tracheal suctioning, incentive spirometry, sputum induction.Recognizes resident's adverse reaction to therapy modalities and takes correct action.Documents all resident care services rendered as part of a medical record.Accepts and transcribes verbal orders related to respiratory care procedures.Sets up, maintains and records log entries on all types of oxygen and respiratory supplies and equipment as required.Instructs residents and family members in the rationale and methodology of every respiratory procedure administered to each resident to facilitate resident cooperation, understanding and efficiency of treatment. Work towards set goals to reach maximum rehabilitation potential.Attends internal and external educational programs and reads appropriate professional journals in order to maintain and enhance technical skills and clinical competencies.Participates in interdisciplinary resident rounds and conferences to plan and evaluate effective resident care.Participates in quality assurance program data collection as assigned.Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services; adherence to an established plan of care, department and patient(s)' schedule, and timely documentation of services.Participates in general equipment troubleshooting and specific tasks to optimize accuracy of diagnostic equipment including quality control methods and preventive maintenance and calibration.Performs other duties as assigned. Prepare high-quality executive reports that summarize the Tech, Cyber, Data, and Resiliency point of view on technology risks derived from the RCSA process. Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the Second Line and Third-Party Risk Management to ensure risk alignment. Monitor the progress of remediation activities, following up on outstanding control actions or delays to ensure timely risk mitigation. Support control dissertation by managing spreadsheets with up-to-date RCSA materials and comprehensive summaries. Subject Matter Expert for metrics in four categories: Compliance, Resiliency, Release Management, and Stability. Develop and maintain a living standard spreadsheet detailing current metrics, defined metric thresholds, non-compliance triggers, and the associated risk of non-compliance for all four categories. Establish and execute a daily process to report on non-compliant metrics to business partners and engaging engineers. Contribute to the monthly executive deck by explaining the drivers for non-compliance and proposing the path to achieving compliance. Provide detailed quarterly reporting on non-compliant metrics for executive governance forums. Monitor the progress of remediation activities and follow up on outstanding controls actions or delays. Immediately investigate and validate the reported critical incidents and the impact caused by the incident. Document all steps taken, the root cause theory, final resolution/workaround, and the lesson learned to prevent it from occurring again. Feed trend data from repeated technology outage incidents back into the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program to update control narratives or increase the criticality rating of the related control. This candidate will play a crucial role in assisting oral surgeons during various dental procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Responsibilities: Patient Preparation: Prepare and escort patients to the treatment area, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have. Obtain and update medical history and vital signs. Assist Oral Surgeon: Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons during various dental procedures. Radiographic Procedures: Take and process dental X-rays as directed by the oral surgeon. Ensure proper positioning and adherence to radiation safety protocols. Patient Education: Instruct patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and any necessary follow-up appointments. Answer patient questions and address concerns. Record Keeping: Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in electronic health records. Maintain confidentiality of patient records. Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain dental equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other dental team members, including dentists, dental hygienists, and administrative staff, to provide comprehensive patient care. Continuing education: Stay informed about advancements in oral surgery and dental assisting through continuing education opportunities. Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA, and DANB guidelines and regulations. Requirements Qualifications: 1. DANB Certification: Possess current certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). 2. DAANCE certification within the first 12 months of employment. 3. Experience: Previous experience in oral surgery or a related field is preferred. 4.
