Assess participant performance of clinical competencies accurately, consistently, and honestly, providing remediation suggestions/plans as necessary. Perform all phases of simulation: developing & running scenarios (pre-programmed and custom), facilitating, debriefing, and evaluating. Incorporate evidence-based practice, research, critical thinking, and multidisciplinary roles into simulation content. Serve as professional liaison for internal and external constituencies through collaboration and effective communication. Maintain current knowledge of simulation standards. Maintain simulation equipment. Assembles and disassembles as necessary for repairs, relocation, or troubleshooting. Ensure safety of employees and integrity of simulation equipment by being present during all assigned simulation activities. Document educational outcomes and report findings as evaluation of program effectiveness and satisfaction. Identify and propose program modifications as needed. Assist with BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, TNCC, or other clinical instruction as needed by department. Actively participate in department planning, activities, evaluation, reporting, and governance. Participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement or accreditation activities as needed. Serve as a knowledgeable, professional resource to new and existing employees.
