POSITION: Full-Time Dean of Apprenticeships & Work-based Learning (Dean): Academic Affairs; Haverhill Campus; 37.5 hours per week; Non-Unit Professional Position. SUMMARY: The Dean of Apprenticeships & Work-based Learning serves as a key leader within Academic Affairs, reporting directly to the Chief Academic Officer/Vice President of Academic Affairs. The Dean provides leadership in developing, implementing, and expanding apprenticeship programs and work-based learning initiatives that align with industry workforce needs, regulatory requirements, and the mission of the college. This role is responsible for strategic planning, partnership development, compliance oversight, and program evaluation to ensure high-quality workforce training opportunities for students and employers. The Dean works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance apprenticeship pathways that support student success and economic growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Development & Implementation
* Ensure alignment with state and federal apprenticeship regulations, including registration, reporting, and compliance requirements.
* Identify and develop new apprenticeship pathways in response to labor market demands and institutional goals.
* Manage the development of apprenticeships by collaborating with faculty, deans, and industry partners, including labor unions.
Employer & Community Engagement
* Establish and maintain strong partnerships with employers, unions, workforce boards, and trade associations to expand apprenticeship opportunities.
* Serve, in collaboration with other college representatives, in workforce development initiatives, advisory boards, and apprenticeship councils.
* Engaging with the VP of Advancement & Workforce and Academic Innovation, recruit and support employers in establishing and sustaining apprenticeship partnerships, through established infrastructure and protocols.
* Act as a liaison between apprentices, employers, and training providers to facilitate clear communication and program success.
* Support organization and structure for academic program advisory committees
Program Awareness & Outreach
* Work collaboratively with Marketing to develop and implement program promotional materials and campaigns, including website content, flyers, emails, and social media, to increase program visibility.
* Collaborate with employers to recruit apprentices, ensuring alignment with program requirements and employer workforce needs.
* Conduct outreach to prospective students, employers, and community organizations to raise awareness about apprenticeship opportunities.
Program Evaluation & Compliance
* Monitor apprenticeship program effectiveness through key performance indicators, retention and completion rates, and employer feedback.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant state and federal apprenticeship policies and accreditation requirements.
* Work with Institutional Effectiveness to manage data collection and reporting efforts to support grant applications, institutional planning, and regulatory compliance.
Financial & Grant Management
* Manage area budget and applicable grant budgets.
* Identify opportunities for external funding, including state and federal grants, to support program sustainability and growth.
* Collaborate with Institutional Advancement to seek funding for apprenticeship programs.
College-wide Strategy and Implementation
* Serve as a member of the college-wide team focused on increasing and expanding work-based learning in credit and non-credit programs.
* Support college-wide systems-building for work-based learning initiatives.
* Collaborate with Career Services, the Center for Adult Education, Corporate and Community Education, and other offices to ensure all students have information needed to access work-based learning opportunities.
Supervision of Program Staff
* Hire and supervise program staff.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree or higher in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
* At least 5-7 years of administrative experience leading work in Career Services, Workforce Development, or other work-based learning area
* Experience supervising staff
* Experience with apprenticeship models and regulations
* Experience collaborating with faculty, employers, and funders
* Demonstrated strong communication skills across multiple constituencies

SUMMARY: The Workforce Program Development Lead will initiate the strategic research, design, and project management of high-impact workforce development initiatives. This role is focused on the innovation, launch, and pilot phases of new programs, creating scalable, industry-aligned training models that will transition to operational departments for ongoing delivery. Current initiatives include a Baseline Manufacturing Training Program and a Heat Pump and HVAC Training Program.

* Develop and deliver a customized 48-hour Airframe & Powerplant Review and Exam Prep Practical, consisting of 12 hours per week over 4 weeks (two weekday evening sessions and one Saturday session).
* Provide hands-on, laboratory-based instruction at the Cape Cod Community College Plymouth campus, reinforcing e-learning concepts through applied practice in aircraft systems, materials, and maintenance procedures.
* Design instructional materials, assessments, and lab exercises aligned with FAA Part 147 standards and industry best practices.
* Maintain student progress records, provide weekly feedback, and ensure 100% completion and exam readiness for each participant.
* Collaborate with program leadership and the employer partner to evaluate learning outcomes and recommend curriculum updates based on participant performance and FAA regulation changes.

* Support the Senior Manager of Employer Engagement & Workforce Partnerships in engaging employers, assessing workforce needs, and aligning apprenticeship opportunities with regional priorities.

* Work with employers to finalize job roles, competencies, and apprenticeship standards.

SUMMARY: NECC is seeking a talented Senior Systems Administrator (SSA) who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team; will be self-motivated and proactive; will provide excellent customer service, technical support, and will become an integral member of a large team of personnel who provide technology services to the college and community.
The SSA will be responsible for maintaining the server infrastructure, both physical, virtual and cloud environments, including Microsoft domain controllers, DHCP, DNS services. The SSA will plan the installation of and maintain systems and services hosted within the corporate infrastructure as well as the cloud hosted solutions. POSITION: Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor: Center for Corporate and Community Education; Lawrence Campus (414 Common Street); up to 18 hours per week SUMMARY: The Per Diem CNA Instructor will be responsible for assisting with the practical and clinical components of the hybrid nursing assistant program alongside the Primary CNA Instructor. This position will report to the CNA Program Coordinator and serve as a valuable team member in collaborating, planning, and managing the unique needs of each monthly CNA cohort.
The Per Diem CNA Instructor positions are an "Open Pool" for the upcoming 2025/26 Academic Year. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis
This pool is valid through June 30th, 2026 and will be accessed when an opening arises. Your application will remain active for two years. After this time, you will need to apply again with current, updated information if you are still interested in remaining a part of the pool.
SCHEDULE: This is an as-needed position, and the number of hours can vary greatly based on enrollment and course schedules. A per diem instructor may not be needed some months, while other months may provide anywhere from 6 to 53 hours during a typical 4-week course.
