We are hiring a Library Services Staff Assistant who will serve as primary point of contact in the library during midday hours. You will assist library users in locating books and other materials used in academic coursework, and answer student questions in person, using chat, email, or other virtual platforms. This position will also assist with shelving, collection maintenance, and other library and archives-related activities. The position works primarily on the Lawrence campus, but some time and travel to the Haverhill campus may be required.
SCHEDULE: 9:30am - 1:30pm, Monday - Thursday, 10-month academic year only (September - June)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties for this position include:
* Aid students and other patrons with circulation services
* Answer general questions related to information needs utilizing library resources (catalog, databases, web sources, etc.)
* Provide in-person, online, phone and email assistance to students, staff, and faculty
* Shelving and collection maintenance projects
* Staffing the library desk alone or with another information professional

SUMMARY: The Workforce Program Development Lead will initiate the strategic research, design, and project management of high-impact workforce development initiatives. This role is focused on the innovation, launch, and pilot phases of new programs, creating scalable, industry-aligned training models that will transition to operational departments for ongoing delivery. Current initiatives include a Baseline Manufacturing Training Program and a Heat Pump and HVAC Training Program.

The Executive Director provides comprehensive planning and overall management for all aspects of the campus master plan, renovation, construction and utilities infrastructure of Bunker Hill Community College. The Executive Director of Facilities Planning, Construction and Facilities supervise the Director of Facilities Management who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the college facilities. The Executive Director and the Director will prepare an annual budget for the upkeep and maintenance of the campus facilities.
The Executive Director will work closely with other members of the senior staff of the facility management team to ensure building and equipment deficiencies are noted and, repairs are scheduled and completed in a timely manner. The Executive Director and the Director of Facilities Management will provide daily support and direction to the physical plant operator.
The Executive Director leads the development of thoughtful and robust plans to determine future capital programs for delivery of BHCC buildings, facilities infrastructure, campus landscape, and support services. Close coordination within the College community, Commonwealth agencies and the local Charlestown community is essential.
Reporting to the Chief of Facilities Planning, Construction and Energy Management, the Executive Director will participate in the development of campus-wide planning efforts, including coordination with Commonwealth of MA departments, BHCC students, faculty, staff and with external community stakeholders to produce positive long-term outcomes.
Core responsibilities include providing technical leadership (subject matter expert) for facilities physical plant including but not limited to: potable water, storm and sanitary sewer, HVAC, electrical, life safety, elevators, exterior envelope and grounds. In conjunction with senior facilities staff, identify, assess and prioritize projects leading to the development of a five-year maintenance capital plan and budget. The funding sources include internal BHCC funding, state and federal grants, and DCAMM (Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance).
Specific Duties:
* Lead development of campus facility and infrastructure planning for short, medium & long-range scenarios.
* Responsible for leading project feasibility studies, collaboratively working with project teams, consultants and state agencies.
* Supervision of facility operations including maintenance, custodial, and contracted services at the Charlestown and Chelsea campuses, and various other off-campus facilities.

General Functions:
Provide Support for the Division Dean
* Provide leadership and oversight for divisional activities and grant initiatives, including student enrollment, retention, and student success.

* Manage scheduling for a faculty team of approximately 20 full-time faculty and more than 60 part-time faculty across multiple departments and programs.
* Prepare, analyze, and interpret enrollment, staffing, and workload data to support scheduling decisions.
* Work directly with the Registrar's Office to create, revise, and finalize course schedules for the full academic year.
Provide Support for Department Chairs, Faculty Program Coordinators, and Directors:
* Collaborate with deans and administrative support staff to design and implement professional development and training.
* Support the program review process: identify programs approaching program review, prepare of supporting data, and coordinate the external evaluation process.
Provide Support for Adjunct Faculty

POSITION: Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor: Center for Corporate and Community Education; Lawrence Campus (414 Common Street); up to 18 hours per week SUMMARY: The Per Diem CNA Instructor will be responsible for assisting with the practical and clinical components of the hybrid nursing assistant program alongside the Primary CNA Instructor. This position will report to the CNA Program Coordinator and serve as a valuable team member in collaborating, planning, and managing the unique needs of each monthly CNA cohort.
The Per Diem CNA Instructor positions are an "Open Pool" for the upcoming 2025/26 Academic Year. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis
This pool is valid through June 30th, 2026 and will be accessed when an opening arises. Your application will remain active for two years. After this time, you will need to apply again with current, updated information if you are still interested in remaining a part of the pool.
