Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time Physician to join its Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine practice in Portland, Maine. * Join and lead a group of dedicated staff who provide individualized treatment using state-of-the-art techniques, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and more.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical specialties including imaging and laboratory services, infectious disease, diabetes education, vascular specialists, podiatry, rheumatology, cardiology and orthopedics.
* Qualified candidates will have completed a wound care course including a minimum of 20 hours of training and a hyperbaric medicine training program with a minimum of 40 hours of training and 200 supervised "dives."
We provide comprehensive treatment for acute and chronic wounds of every type, including diabetic ulcers, neuropathic or venous statis ulcers, pressure ulcers, peristomal skin irritation, radiation injury, chronic bone infection, post-operative wounds, chronic wounds caused by circulatory or other problems, minor burns, and traumatic wounds
