Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for coordinating the patient flow to obtain requested imaging studies in a fast paced environment. This is achieved through order verification, Quality Assurance of the imaging equipment, proper patient identification and obtaining appropriate imaging following approved policies and protocols. This is to include proper patient preparation and education which may begin prior to the patient arrival. The technologist may be involved in part of a procedural team. Gould Hospital Work Type: Full Time Hours Per Week: 40.00 Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM The staff CT Technologist performs CT scan examinations of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by the clinician. The CT Scan Technologist is expected to perform a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply a prescribed amount of x-radiation for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality CT scans for interpretation by the radiologist.

The CT Scan Technologist is expected to perform a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply a prescribed amount of x-radiation for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality CT scans for interpretation by the radiologist.
