Resourcefulness in dealing with simple to moderate complexity requires ability to prioritize duties with assistance of nursing personnel. * Practices within the scope and level of certification/licensure Minimum Qualifications Education * High school graduate or equivalent * Medical training as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Certified Assistant (MA), EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic Experience * Six-(6) months work experience as a CNA/EMT or other health related field performing patient care in a health care facility, preferably an acute care hospital, and/or pre-hospital setting or formal college coursework relating to health field or combination of education and experience. * One (1) year work experience as an EMT/PCT with IV endorsement/AEMT or Medical Assistant performing patient care in a health care facility, preferably an acute care hospital and/or pre-hospital setting. Required to develop proficiency in EMT/AEMT/MA procedures and processes encompassing all age groups. (Level II) * Or CNA w/ one (1) or more years' experience in the ED that has completed leveling program to obtain level II Certifications and Licenses * Current Montana license as Certified Nurse Assistant and/or EMT certification or college training in a health-related field. * EMT certification with IV endorsement (Level II) * CPR Certification BLS for infant, child and adult upon hire (ACLS for Level III) * Must successfully pass Billings Clinic phlebotomy training upon of hire. The final exam will be taken on-line through the State of Montana test site and the skills exam will be given by Northern Montana Health Care.
