The COO provides day to day operations of the hospital. Implements strategy of CEO and Corporation. Manages hospital departments efficiently and effectively to maximize quality of services and profits of the hospital.
This leader also:
Directs effective quality operations to maximize return on investment and community reputation. Increases revenues and income before inter-company allocations, maintains or decreases the effective bad debt rate, achieves the margin percentage, and implements operating cost controls in the areas of staffing, supplies, purchased services, etc.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for all financial matters of Northern Nevada HOPES. The CFO will report to and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operations Officer. In addition, s/he will partner with the senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement strategies across the organization. The CFO will oversee all compliance and recognition for government (federal and state) contracts and private grants. The CFO will oversee the Finance department for HOPES. S/he will also oversee the financial components of human resources such as 401k management, payroll and insurance coverage for employees. S/he will also oversee the Billing Department. S/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace while managing finance staff. Essential Functions:
Finance
Oversee cash, investment, and asset management.
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships.
Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization's operations and business plans.
Oversee the Billing Department ensuring compliance, accuracy.
Provide oversight of patient collections, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Planning, Policy, and Investor Relations
Coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets.
Develop financial business plans and forecasts.
Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
Engage the finance committee of the board of directors to develop short-, medium-, and long- term financial plans and projections.
Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, foundation executives, auditors, public officials, etc.
Remain up to date on nonprofit audit best practices and state and federal law regarding nonprofit operations.
Accounting and Administration
Oversee the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and function; supervise finance staff.
Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for federal and state funders, foundations, and Northern Nevada HOPES board of directors; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.
Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
Human Resources (Finance)
Collaborates with HR staff and CEO regarding all financial aspects of Human Resources including 401k administration, insurance coverage and payroll

This Director of Rehabilitation/Therapy Services is full time at 40 hours per week and offers full benefits. This individual will be responsible for the overall administration, clinical planning, development and operations of the Rehabilitation program. Ensure staff are providing up to date best practice care to meet all defined CMS quality standards. Ensures all staff are oriented to the rehab unit and are kept up to date on all outcomes, CMS requirements, and performance of the rehab program.
Ensures staff are providing up to date best practice care to all rehab patients while meeting CMS quality outcomes
Oversee and provide direction as needed for the rehab nursing manager and staff, therapy manager/supervisor and staff and administration staff.
Responsible for submitting operational and capital budget based on rehab's needs and growth of the rehab program
Ensure established productivity targets are met and the rehab is staffed based on patient volumes.

The Grants Accounting Manager ensures accurate and timely implementation, tracking, and reporting of all grant-related financial activities. This role also supervises the Accounting Assistant assigned to grants.
The Grants Accounting Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate grant budgets, financial reports, and supporting documentation. This position serves as the primary liaison for grant-related financial matters, ensuring compliance with grantor requirements and internal policies. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills to keep stakeholders informed and facilitate proper use of grant funds.
Key objectives include:
Delivering timely and accurate grant budgets and reports to grantors.
Maintaining complete and compliant financial records.
Providing monthly updates to internal teams on grant status and spending.
Essential Respnosibilities:
Grants Accounting Management
Oversee all aspects of grants accounting, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality measures for grant management.
Prepare and submit grant budgets in collaboration with program teams.
Review and reconcile general ledger entries; maintain audit-ready records.
Monitor grant expenditures to ensure adherence to funding requirements.
Conduct internal audits and develop strategies to mitigate compliance risks.
Prepare recurring reports such as FFR cash reports, BPR, Allocation, and Expenditure reports.
Review and process grant contracts per agency policy.
Financial Systems & Data Management
Utilize accounting software and spreadsheets for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Ensure accuracy in payroll, payments, and other electronic transactions related to grants.
Collaboration & Communication
Act as the subject matter expert on grant accounting and compliance.
Provide monthly updates to program teams on grant spending.
Collaborate with leadership, program directors, and grantors to meet reporting requirements.
Support auditors and respond to inquiries from vendors and stakeholders.
Leadership & Supervision
Supervise the Accounting Assistant assigned to grants.
Provide performance management, coaching, and training to staff.
